Yiorgo: With us today is astrologer GeorgeTripodi.TellusGeorge whyshould people attend An Evening with George Tripodi?Whatwilltheysee hear andexperience?

George Tripodi: Yes, this is a period of time where revolutionary change is occurring on a global level consistently, not just intermittently And this rapid revolution and evolution will likely include disharmonies and challenges of one kind or another throughout the process, which could last, unfoldforupto20consecutiveyears Somy intention and hope is to be able to gather some folks together who are interested to expandtheircapacitytoconceptualizenew possibilities, to promote active communication, interaction with one another, with compassion, withrespect, knowingfullwell thatweasahumanfamilyaregoingtoexperience this shift, we can say together, as a humanfamily

And additionally I would like to propose new ways of simply considering or looking at the idea, the concept of boundaries We have come into this period of time for human nature, the human experience, a

timewhereboundariesarelikelytobeeither transformed, changed, broken dissolved, and/or looked at or related in a way that doesn’tseparate Sounificationofthehuman family, however small or modest it may be, andadiminishingofthatwhichenhancesor increasesasenseofperceptionofseparation would be a lot of what we would be sharing inthistimetogether

Y:What is your topic for the evening and why did you decide to cover this particular topic?

GT: The topic would be a new way of experiencing revolutionary change And the reason for that is choice, is that, as an astrologer, andhavingstudiedhistoryagreat deal, as well as astrology and how the two coincide, that revolutions or revolutionary changehistoricallymanifestatcertaintimes that coincide with astrological configurations The reason I’ve chosen this subject is because those astrological configurations that have historically coincided with revolutionary change are now present and are expandinginourcurrentculture.

Y: How is astrology, the public figures of world events, the world events themselves, howisallthatconnected?

GT:Yes,itisinterestingtolookat, observe, and measure. One of the best ways or easiest or effortless ways to consider it is this Without complicating it because it can, as most things can, get complicated The easiest way is to just reflect in our own lifetime wherewesee, sense, perceivechangesinthe generations as they emerge Each genera-

tion our children our grandchildren, our great-grandchildren, as each generation emerges and then develops and then of course becomes an integral part of their generation, as that whole process takes place, there is a distinct identity connected tothosegenerations Each generation has, in its unique way, a symbolofwhatitstandsfororrepresents In fact, weevenseeitorhearitbroughtup You know,we’vegottheGenZandtheGenXand all kinds of interesting terminologies that themediapresents, butit’sdeeperthanthat. Whenmysix-year-oldgrandnephewisdaily, aspartofhisdailylife, utilizingtechnologyin theformofvariouscellphonesandportable, computer-type instruments and things like that as a way of life, then in comparison to, say, agenerationbeforehim, weseeadifferenceinthegenerationfurtherback.

Y:Wouldyousaythattherearetraditionally leaders that emerge through the years thataffectallofus?

GT: Yes indeed Each generation has its unique individuals, those standouts, those that somehow represented the character at least temporarily of that generation. And it doesn’t take very long, just looking through a history briefly going back 100 years we can see these characters emerge Albert Einstein, McCarthyism, Elvis Presley John F. Kennedy, and continuing onward So we see that at various times that we have these personalities we call them that stand out, represent symbolically, and that’s much of whatastrologyisabout, itissymbolism.Ifwe were to take a moment, and look around at ourlife ourlifeexperience ourrelationships and all the things that go along with it, the symbolismofwhoweare, whatwestandfor thesymbolismofourhighestidealsanddeep core values, the symbolism is there. And it representsandstandsforourparticularway of carving out of our time here a particular quality, value, ideal.Itrepresentssomething And so we’re looking at that astrologically as a way of languaging it And we look and see that even in “revolutionary times,” the ideaofthesymbolsassociatedwithfreedom, liberation, theidealsassociatedwithrespect for the human experience, the individual human, respect for our individual human natures There is in fact, the astrological symbol, thattypicallyspeakstotheendofanempire. We go through history and of course, the beginning of an empire, how it was constructed, created who was involved, and then the end of that empire, only to see anewempireemergewhoknowswhere. But that’showitgoes Birth, death, birth, death. And now we see astrologically that in the birth chart, using astrological jargon, of the

United States of America, that symbol that speaks to the end, that symbolic keyword, to the end of the empire, that symbol was triggered about 12 to 18 months ago And typically, once that gets triggered, historically, looking back, the Roman Empire, the BritishEmpireandsoforthandsoon, looking back at how that unfolded, we can see that we are now in the very beginnings of an extraordinary revolutionary shift. We needtolookatthebigpicture.Let’sbecome more, however small, however little let’s become more accustomed to or willing to giveourselvespermissiontobeaccustomed to thinking of ourselves as a human family sharingonplanetEarth, andresponsiblefor one another and responsible of course for what we typically would call Mother Earth typeofanidea.

Y:Soattheendofyourpresentation, what are you hoping what is your desire that the guests walk away contemplating, thinking, or feeling as we’re at the end of the presentation?

GT:Iwouldhopethattheywouldindividually sense a connection with life and with the world around them that they hadn’t necessarily experienced before, or if they had, itwasquitebrief tosensethat, maybeI should include in my everyday thinking in my everyday feelings not just my personal thoughts but to somehow give myself permission to look at the world in as large acontextasIpossiblycansothatmyworld, theworldthatIlivein, myindividualworld, I can begin to appreciate and understand thatthereareeightbillionindividualsonthe planetaswespeak, andthatthisrevolutionary change that I have embellished speaks to how are we together going to rethink it so as to merge, bring together, these eight billion individuals into something that’s more cohesive and/or in a sense respectful ofeachother, contributory

Y: Okay, so now let’s learn about you. Where were you born, and what or who madeyoufallinlovewithastrology?

GT: I was born in New York City My father was in the United States Navy We relocated to Norfolk and in 1970 I moved to 63rd Street in Virginia Beach. I had a nicelittlehomethere, alovelywifeandtwo children And we were just two blocks or so away from the Association of Research andEnlightenment, theAREorEdgarCayce Foundation as many people recall At that time there were not many extra places to house people who would come in from all overtheworldtovariouslecturesandworkshopsthatwerebeinggivenbytheARE.Soa lotoftheneighborsinthesurroundinglocale

wouldhaveanextraroomavailablethattheywouldrenttoa participantfortheweekendorhoweverlongtheworkshop orlecturelasted. One day, this gentleman knocked on my front door He clearly was a rather remarkable-looking gentleman in the sense that he had that Arabian features that I had only previously seen in the movies. A very kind, gentle man, seeking a room for the weekend for this workshop at the ARE. I certainly made a room available to him. He was an astrologer Part of our offering to him was to provide dinner and we would have conversations about astrology. I had studied astronomy and mathematics in college, so I was very curious It was difficult for me to believe He was averypatient, kindandveryunderstandingindividual. He was not trying to prove his points or anything. So I would ask him these questions and how could he possibly prove this or understand that. I was very much into the technical part of it. And he answered my questions the best that he could. When he left he gave me two little paperbacks astrology books, which at the time were difficult to get and I cherished them. My quest in the beginning of studying astrology was to understand it, but with the intention of disproving it. As my studies continued, I became more aware,conscious-. thattherewassomethingthatIneeded topayattentionto ButIcouldn’tget,Icouldn’tgetthefeel for what. Then I read a book by Noel Tyl. He was truly a master and a graduate of Harvard University He wrote a seriesofbookswherehehadpenetrated, gonedeeperinto theastrologicalsymbolismthathadbeentheprominentor prevalent, at the time, or previously, uh, as it related to the human personality, and how it functions, operates, and all thethingsthatgoalongwithitandthatcapturedmethere. I think it works.” And then I got into the history features. That’swhereIsaid,“Well, gosh, youknow, maybethere’sa historicalconnectionwhereIcanlookatvarioushistorical figures or historical events”.

Y: Currently, you have a referral-based practice What servicesdoyouprovide?Howcanpeoplebenefitfromitand howcantheygetintouchwithyou?
