Company Overview
DAVID MIELKE
CEO, MIELKE Holdings
David Mielke, a third-generation construction leader, has served as President of MIELKE since 2001, guiding the strategic direction and operational success of the company. With 30+ years managing projects, budgeting, and bidding, he combines technical expertise with strong leadership. David has also held multiple board and committee roles with the Association of Builders and Contractors at both chapter and national levels, contributing to the advancement of industry standards and best practices. He is President of the MIELKE Foundation, and has served as Chairperson of the Board of Directors for The Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay and volunteers in the Guardian Ad Litem program.

SCOTT GIVENS
President, MIELKE Mechanical
Scott Givens brings more than 20 years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry and is a graduate of MIELKE’s College Graduate Apprenticeship Program. After several years managing field operations, he transitioned into office leadership, serving as Project Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President and now President. Scott holds an MBA from The Ohio State University and oversees sales and operations, driving performance and client satisfaction. He remains active in the industry as a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Northeast Ohio and has served on the Welding and HVAC Advisory Council for Polaris Career Center.
ANTHONY JANSEN
Vice President, Central Operations
Anthony Jansen joined MIELKE in 2008 as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on large HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection projects. He advanced to Vice President of Large Projects, managing high-profile assignments including The 9 in 2013, the largest single project of his career with a contract value exceeding $15 million. In 2014, Anthony assumed his role as Vice President of Finance and Business Administration for MIELKE Holdings, LLC, overseeing financial operations, accounting, legal matters, and human resources. Tony now leads MIELKE’s Central Operations Team, directing cross-functional efforts to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
PAUL BRYAN
Vice President, Ohio Operations
Paul Bryan leads MIELKE’s Ohio operations, bringing more than a decade of experience with the company. He began his career as an apprentice and progressed to Project Manager before taking leadership of the Columbus office and ultimately overseeing all Ohio operations. Paul holds an MBA from Kent State University, is a graduate of MIELKE’s College Graduate Apprenticeship Program, and earned first place in ABC’s National Craft Championship. With a unique combination of hands-on trade expertise and executive leadership, Paul effectively bridges field operations with business strategy, delivering exceptional results across the organization.

Vice President of Service
Wes Dearth has served as Vice President of MIELKE Service since 2020, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the mechanical service industry. In this role, he oversees the growth, performance, and profitability of the Service Division. Under Wes’ leadership, the division has experienced significant growth and continues to expand year over year. This momentum is fueled by a focus on building strong client relationships, developing highly skilled service teams, and implementing innovative solutions that extend equipment life and improve system efficiency.

Philip Beuck recently joined MIELKE as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in financial leadership and business operations. Throughout his career, Philip has led organizational transformation, improved cash flow, streamlined processes, and managed risk to strengthen performance. Recognized as a change agent, he leverages financial expertise, operational insight, and process improvement skills to drive efficiency and profitability.

TAMPA, FL - H. Lee Moffit Cancer Center
Contract Value: $16M+
MIELKE was shortlisted to provide design development budgeting for Moffitt’s new 10-story, 500,000 SF inpatient hospital. We quickly deployed BIM technicians to model systems, coordinate sleeves and embeds, and support budgeting. After meeting key deliverables and establishing pricing, we were awarded the full plumbing and medical gas scopes.

PURAGLOBE, based in Germany, expanded to the U.S. with a new Port Tampa Bay facility, converting an unfinished, abandoned eight-year-old site into a fully operational plant for sustainable base oil. MIELKE applied innovative methods and strict quality control to revitalize the project and meet the firm deadline for European base oil transfer.

MIELKE delivered a 3-story office addition and multi-phase renovations across an occupied corporate headquarters. Work included full mechanical upgrades, HVAC replacement, and major equipment installations, completed over 2½ years with minimal disruption, ensuring continuous operations and effective coordination among multiple trades.

This project renovated a 29-story tower, historic rotunda, and 13-story building, featuring residential apartments, luxury sky suites, a Marriott Signature Collection hotel, and multiple restaurants. MIELKE delivered plumbing and HVAC systems, including the installation of one of the nation’s few high-efficiency steam turbines, supporting modern performance within a historic setting.

MIELKE is providing HVAC and plumbing systems for the new 72,756 SF OVDL, Ohio’s only AAVLD-accredited, USDA Level 1 laboratory. The project replaces the 1961 facility and supports advanced diagnostic testing, emergency disease response, and high-performance laboratory operations while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with federal standards.

Founded in 2017, the MIELKE Foundation is dedicated to changing lives—supporting children in foster care, strengthening families, and providing assistance to employees, partners, and communities facing life’s toughest challenges.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded by a portion of our company’s annual profits, the Foundation invests directly back into people. Our signature event, the Casting for Kids Fishing Tournament in Tampa Bay, has raised more than $1.2 million, with 100% of proceeds making an impact through:

• Raising awareness for the 6,000+ children in Tampa Bay still waiting for their forever families
