MIELKE brings 40+ years of experience performing new construction and renovation in the industrial, institutional and commercial construction markets. We self-perform plumbing, HVAC, process piping, fabrication, steel erection and rigging. We also offer full in-house BIM design services and have extensive pre-fabrication capabilities.
MIELKE has more than 200 team members across our offices in Medina and Columbus, OH and Tampa, FL. We have built our business by developing long-term relationships with our clients, employee team and industry partners. Our dedication to exceeding our client’s expectations has allowed us to earn clients for generations.

MIELKE is a merit shop employer and our focus on training and developing our team means they are more efficient and effective at their jobs. A well trained and engaged workforce delivers innovative solutions that are right the first time eliminating costly re-work. We are proud of our NCCER accredited Apprenticeship Program and College Graduate Apprenticeship Program which have produced many of our top leaders. Our crane operators are NCCCO certified and all of our welders are independently certified in accordance with ASME and AWS standards. We provide monthly continuing education classes, field supervision training, leadership & communication programs as well as extensive safety training.
At MIELKE we employ a full time team of design professionals. Their mission is to create 3-D CAD models for our major projects that facilitates pre-fabrication and modularization. Transitioning work tasks from challenging field conditions into a manufacturing environment increases efficiency, quality and safety. This strategy allows us to complete as much as 70% of project work in our shop. Even when a fully designed 3-D model is not practical, our field teams regularly direct components to be built in the shop saving costly site labor and expediting schedules.

Employees are not only empowered, but also expected to make safety the most important consideration in every task that they perform. Training our team to proactively identify risks, to pre-plan for safe operations and to draw on any necessary resources ensures that our work is executed safely. MIELKE has internal safety experts on staff and we engage third party safety professionals for additional expertise and outside audits of our operations.

MIELKE Foundation supports friends and family members of our employees, clients and vendors who may be in need as well as supporting children’s causes in the communities. Our annual charity fishing tournament has raised more than $1,000,000 with 100% of the proceeds donated to organizations supporting children’s causes.
