We are pleased for you to view our electronic Summer Exhibition Catalog

British Art: Paintings of Livestock, the Turf and the Field. Our inaugural effort in this medium was Blood Will Tell: Bird Dog Paintings by J.M. Tracy, published in the fall of 2017 (View Catalog ). We have decided to try the format again now and invite your comments about this presentation.

The majority of the works included in the Summer Exhibition are fresh to the market having recently come to us on consignment, either from estates or collectors who have downsized or shifted to different collecting pursuits. Also, for the first time prices are included with each cataloged work. In the past the thought was with published prices a call or email about an exhibited work might not occur missing then an opportunity for us to begin a dialogue with an interested party. Although this old school method of dealing we have developed over the last forty-five years may still be appreciated by some, it is an extra step for the many digital acquisitors of today.

Underscoring this new generational phenomenon of the art market, I am proud to announce that my daughter, Hannah Reuter Rothrock, has joined Red Fox Fine Art as a principal in the firm. With Hannah on board as a resource we have been able to expand our scope in many ways, including participation in the prestigious Winter Show in New York, a highlight of my career and an important beginning for hers. Without Hannah’s urging, this Summer Exhibition Catalog British Art: Paintings of Livestock, the Turf and the Field may not have been possible.

Please contact either of us with questions or comments. Thank you and enjoy,

Turner Reuter Hannah Rothrock
