ow the summer sure went fast and at Michigan ER - September, 2019 Snowmobiler and ORV we’ve been working year round to find new and exciting stories for our readers. Kinda hard to believe it’s already time to start talking sleds. Later in this issue – in my second official article – I’ll be describing a winter river ride that many of our friends and relatives have enjoyed. Just to get everyone dreaming of the next big change in season when the snow starts falling. I hope you enjoy hear-

Local river rides can offer a nice one day ride option for those weekends when it’s tough to be away for 3 or more straight days and maybe the snow in your area isn’t ideal. For many of us, it’s fun to trailer the sleds to enjoy a ride outside

our home area trails. For Scott and I the trails of the Upper Peninsula is more of our usual option, but work schedules don’t always allow for the extra time away from home. So this year, be watching for coverage of events all across our state while we look forward to another trip across the Mighty Mac to enjoy the Northern most part of our favorite state. We are so fortunate to enjoy the Mackinac Bridge incident free that

it’s easy to forget all that it takes to maintain and protect Michigan’s own suspension bridge. So next time you’re crossing our Mighty Mac, take a second and mentally give credit to the Mackinac Bridge Authority. They make a very tough job look easy. Until next month,
