GRADUATE EDUCATION AT MICA

Students in the MA in Social Design program believe that design and the design process can, and should, play a role in creating positive change; possess a professional level of design skills and/ or relevant knowledge; are prepared for an immersive, hands-on experience; and are excited about working collaboratively with different disciplines, knowledge bases, and points of view.

Groundbreaking graduate programs at MICA are redefining the role of highly skilled and informed artists and designers in society. MICA offers MFA programs, ranked in the top ten by U.S. News & World Report, as well as MA, MBA, MAT, and MPS programs at the vanguard of contemporary art and design education and application.

Applicants have typically worked or studied in a creative or relevant field including, but not limited to, design, architecture, photography, fine arts, business, anthropology, sociology, public health, engineering, environmental studies, non-profit, and more.

APPLICATION DEADLINES All application materials for the MA in Social Design program must be received by the Office of Graduate Admission by: January 15 (priority deadline) April 15 (space available)
