Volume was created on Wurundjeri land. We are living on stolen land. I would like to pay my respect to its true owners and their elders - past present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded and treaties have never been signed.
the shit I say in this zine are all just things I've researched and so may not be 100% accurate, so always make sure to do your research before you come to a decision!

I don't know how this would ever come into the possession of anyone who doesn't know me but if somehow you don't, I'm a silly little queer and neurodivergent fool.

There are two types of health insurancehospital and extras. Hospital, believe it or not, covers things like hospital stay, ambulance prices ect, where extras cover stuff like dentist visits, osteo appointments, and more.
Another term you might come across is a 'waiting period' which is the amount of time you have to wait before you can claim that benefit. For example, if elective surgery has a 6 month waiting period, you would have to pay your health cover for 6 months before you can claim money back on elective surgery.
Self proclaimed fiery guitarist Izy is the badass singer of Baby Mullet! If you haven't heard of them already you have to get on it -- the whole band are fashion icons and all round awesome people!

Before I get into it, there are a few terms I'm gonna have to explain. There are two types of breaks - rest breaks, and meal breaks. Rest breaks last a minimum of ten minutes and are paid, where meal breaks last at least half an hour, which are unpaid (unfortunate, I know).
The below info is based on retail jobs - for tailored advice take a squiz at the Fair Work Ombudsman's webpage on breaks.
