Miami recognizes international students studying in the United States need specialized services. In fact, International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is dedicated to supporting the unique needs of Miami’s international students.

International student orientation is mandatory and occurs on campus before the start of classes. At this program, you will: Review immigration regulations.
Highly trained advisors within ISSS provide guidance on topics ranging from visa regulations to acculturation. As you’re preparing to enroll, ISSS will reach out with information to support your transition to Miami — travel, orientation, class registration, fnancial matters, and other topics.
