SUMMER CAMPS GUIDE

In the Fall of 2008, the community of Mahogany was established by Hopewell Residential. Shortly thereafter, Mahogany was awarded “Calgary’s New Community of the Year, 2009” . Since then the community of Mahogany continues to grow and has won “Calgary Community of the Year” for 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2022, as well as “Alberta’s Community Development of the Year” in 2014.
The Mahogany Homeowners Association is a non-profit organization established for residents of Mahogany to give them the everlasting value of living in an exceptional community. Mahogany residents live an energetic lifestyle and are surrounded by a true sense of community spirit and togetherness.
Being open, transparent and empathetic, we build trust by treating people the right way and doing what’s right for the community. We believe that working with people of different backgrounds, cultures and thinking styles help our community grow into better leaders and enables a stronger community.
Enhancing community so people can live better.
Community Serving Community.
Respect, accountability, integrity, diversity, resilience, and creativity.

Mahogany has collaborated with four incredible organizations to offer a diverse range of options for children in our community. These specialized programs provide children with hands-on learning experiences, fostering creativity, confidence, and new skills. These unique camps do not provide pre or post-camp care.
Young sailors will take to the water with Glenmore Sailing Club’s Mobile Sailing School, while future engineers will tackle exciting STEM challenges with Engineering for Kids. Aspiring filmmakers can explore storytelling, animation, and video production with Film Camp in a Box. Each camp is led by trained professionals with first aid certification and police information checks to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
With a wide range of exciting programs, these contractor-led camps provide an opportunity for kids to learn, create, and explore in a dynamic and supportive setting Whether they’re mastering the waves, building innovative projects, or bringing stories to life on screen, every camper will gain valuable skills and unforgettable memories Don’t miss out on a summer of adventure and discovery in Mahogany!
