In the Fall of 2008, the community of Mahogany was established by Hopewell Residential. Shortly thereafter, Mahogany was awarded “Calgary’s New Community of the Year, 2009” . Since then the community of Mahogany continues to grow and has won “Calgary Community of the Year” for 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2022, as well as “Alberta’s Community Development of the Year” in 2014.
The Mahogany Homeowners Association is a non-profit organization established for residents of Mahogany to give them the everlasting value of living in an exceptional community. Mahogany residents live an energetic lifestyle and are surrounded by a true sense of community spirit and togetherness.

MAHOGANY WINTER CLASSIC
If you play hockey, this is an opportunity you cannot afford to pass on The Annual 3on3 Hockey Tournament, is looking to shake up the local hockey scene with a weekend of action-packed competition. Teams will be competing for pride, glory, bragging rights. Your team must be made up of at least three players and one goalie, with each player being over 16 years of age. Open to all including non-residents.
Led by experienced artisan Lisa Graham, this workshop will guide you through the simple yet satisfying process of creating beautiful beeswax candles from start to finish Perfect for beginners and candle enthusiasts alike, you’ll leave with a set of handmade candles that make for perfect gifts or décor for your home. This class is ideal for children aged 6 to 13 who are either new to skating or wish to improve their foundational skills. Whether your child has never skated before or has some basic experience, this program provides a fun and encouraging environment to help them gain confidence and refine their abilities.
The class covers essential skating techniques, preparing skaters for various disciplines such as figure skating, hockey, speed skating, or recreational skating. Parents are not required to join their child on the ice in this age group.

Mahogany HOA is pleased to offer day camps for school breaks, with a variety of materials, games to play in the gym, and fun to have with their friends.
An interactive safety training program for youth at least 10 years of age and all siblings aged seven and up This valuable safety program prepares youth for the important step of being home alone safely. Being home alone can be an uncomfortable and unsafe situation without some basic skills. Those safety, first aid, and comfort skills are covered in this course through interactive games and role playing. Let's work to keep our children safe and confident. Home Alone is recommended prior to taking babysitter training.
