In the Human Resources Department, as part of our continued development of our internal communications to our team members, we introduce the Pulse Monthly. In this edition: - Department Feature - Employee Status Changes - Service Interruption & Changes - MHMC Monthly News - Hot Policy of the Month - What's Coming... Mc Carson Bledman Deputy Manager - Employee Engagement Reward & Recognition / Editor Happy New Year, Team MHMC! 2021 is gone and we have gracefully ushered in 2022. We have journeyed long and hard through 2021 and have had several wins amidst the challenges. I am confident that 2022 will be a greater year for all of us. I cannot continue without recognizing the evident Christmas cheer during the end of 2021 here at MHMC! We saw departments coming together and celebrating in the safest way possible, and many organisations and individuals donating to our institution. And oh! I cannot forget how LUCELEC came through and brought an era of newness with their display of lights on our building which was the joy to behold. We wish each department well as we set our 2022 goals for success. We encourage you to focus on collaboration and work towards improving our communication for greater effectiveness. It is only then can we be seen as ONE TEAM! Of course, we cannot ignore the surge in cases that Fair Helen has been experiencing and so we implore each of you to work with the government and respective agencies as we monitor the situation and respond appropriately. I want to thank all our team members who continue to support in the COVID-19 response efforts. Ultimately, let's stay the course in making MHMC #1 in healthcare. Enjoy the read and ensure you let us know if we are keeping your attention. In the meantime, until the next edition, remember to follow the protocols to keep yourself, family, friends and colleagues safe:

Patient Services embarks on a capacity building exercise The Patient Services Department has established their training plan for the first quarter and will continue throughout the year. The training program is intended to improve the soft skills, professional skills as well as the overall wellbeing of team members on the job. Deputy Manager Front Office and Lead on the training initiative, Ms. Anisha Maximin believes that as we begin to digitize our processes there is a need to assess the skills needed to function in that space. She also believes that some of the softer skills such as customer service, though small to some, has a detrimental impact on business operations if left unaddressed. Kudos, Patient Services!
