A SUMMER SOIREE Browsing and boutique shopping at The Old Meadery in Fernside is like summer in the French countryside.

wner Anette Drewery is hosting a Christmas market on the lawn on Thursday December 7, from 5pm to about 8pm. Golden Retrievers Daisy and Flynn will be greeting ladies at the 15 stalls of handmade crafts, along with Becky’s Caravan food truck, a coffee cart and live music to serenade the soiree. The shop will be open too, with Italian and French designer clothing and eclectic vintage and new giftware. The clothing side of the business has blossomed and Anette has now launched her online shop Molto Bella, www.moltobella.nz. The one-off designs are romantic, wellmade mix-and-match layering pieces.
