THE IRVING AUDITORIUM, MONDAY, JULY 7, 1952 AT 4:30 P. M. O'CLOCK. PRESENT:

Others present: Dr. J. C. Swanson, Superintendent; Mr. George. H. C. Green, Treasurer; Mr. John W. Prigmore, Auditor; Mr. Max Morgan, Attorney representing Mr. Lybrand; Mr. M. J. Burr, Assistant Superintendent, Research; Messrs. L. V. Ballard, Bill Foutz, Hugh B. Ginn, Gilbert Robinson, and Mrs. Floy.Campbell - directors; Messrs. Charles Harville and Gene Stinebeck, Purchasing Department; Miss Mary Thacker, Recording Secretary. The invocation was' given by Mr. Pearson, President.

Invocation

On motion of Mr. Lookabaugh, seconded by Mrs. Melton, the minutes of the meetings of June 2, 4, 23, and 27, 1952 were approved as read.

SPECIAL

Motion was made by Mr. Lookabaugh and seconded by Mrs. Melton to approve re-el§ction for the school year 1952-53 Administrative, Instructional, Secretarial, Custodial and Maintenance employees of the majority and separate schools, with the exception of the personnel who received letters of notification that their re-election would not be recommended or assured,, subject to the rules and regulations of the Bbard of Education relating to the Leaves of Absence, Retirements, Resignation, etc.; these employees to be re-dlected subject to assignments and salaries to be fixed by the Board of Education according to the 1952-53 budget; and all instructional employees not under contract who are recommended for election be elected; all assignments to remain the same for the school year 1952-53 as of 1951-52 unless individuals are, or have been, notified to the contrary, the list of re-employeed and newly employed personnel being as follows: NOTE: This list includes new employees as of July 30, 1952— Election of those employed between July 7 and July.30,. 1952 will be shown in succeeding minutes of the -%ard, as well as in this list.
