Other officials present: Dr. H. B. Bruner, Superintendent, W. A. Lybrand, Attorney, Millard E. Prigmore, Auditor, and Geo. H. C. Green, Treasurer.
The reading of the minutes was postponed. I
Motion was made by Mr. -Sinex and seconded by Mr. Williams that the Board confirm the election for 1945-46 of all Administrative, Instructional, Secretarial, Custodial and Service Department employees who were elected prior to July 2, 19^5, subject to assgnment and salaries to be fixed by’the Board of Education after the approval of the 19M-5—-U-6 budgets; and in the case of employees who are on regular duty prior to the approval of the budgets, salaries are to be paid according to the 1944-45 schedule until such budgets are approved; and after salaries are fixed said salaries will be retroactive to July 1st. Upon roll call all members present voted "Aye," and the motion was declared to have carried.

Mr. Sinex moved that the following persons who were regular employees during the school year 1944-45, be elected for the school year 1945-46:

V. C. Gee, Bus Drive?, for transportation of punils to Northeast High School transferred from County Districts Minnie Guthrie, Teacher
and that Mr. Edgar J. Spady, Co-ordinator of Vocational and Industrial Education be paid from the General Fund, effective July 1, 19^5The motion was seconded by Mr. Williams and upon roll call carried unanimously. Upon motion of Mr. Sinex, seconded by Mr. Williams, the following resignations were accepted:
Conner, J. Carl, M.S. to accept another position, effective June JO, 1945, Principal of Roosevelt Jr. High School, salary $J100, has been in the system 20 years. Conner, Carolyn (Mrs.J. Carl), B.S., to go with her husband to Muskogee, effective May 25, 19^5- Teacher at Cleveland School, Second Grade, salary 11475, has been in the system years. Thomas, Mina, Miss, M. S. , to accept another position, effective May 25,194-5. Teacher at Classen High School, Commerce, salary $24-00, has been in the system 2J years. Hulet, Leona Dale, Miss, M. A., to accept another position, effective May 25, 1945. Teacher at Capitol Hill Sr., Commerce, salary $1500 (War Contract), has been in the system 1 year. Chase, LuVerne, Mrs., B. S. to accept another position, effective May 25, 1945. Teacher at Jackson Jr. High School, English, salary $1225 (War Contract ), has been in the system 1|- years.

Morse, Nancy Ann, B. A., elected for Speech position at Jackson Junior High < Position School, reported that she is unable to accept this appointment as she has Not accepted another position. Accented Mr. Williams moved that the employment of Mrs. B. F. Nance, substitute cook for Children's Service Department, salary of $J.OO per day, effective July 1, 1945; be approved by the Board. The motion was seconded by Mr. Sinex and upon roll call carried unanimously.
