Im Angebot sind die unterschiedlichsten Aromen, ganz traditionelles oder auch ausgefallenes wie Heu, Arvenholz oder Wasabi. Ihr persönlicher Favorit ist übrigens die «Rote Johannisbeere».

«ZOOOM THE MATTERHORN» ON THE GORNERGRAT Auf dem Gornergrat ist im vergangenen Jahr eine multimediale Erlebniswelt rund um das Matterhorn und den einmaligen Panoramablick auf die umliegenden 29 Viertausender entstanden. Seit dem Sommer 2021 können Gäste in allen Dimensionen in die naturnahe Inszenierung eintauchen. Zu erleben ist die Ausstellung in der Station der ehemaligen Luftseilbahn «Hohtälli».

In summer 2021, a brand-new multimedia experience all about the Matterhorn opened, featuring the unique panoramic view of the 29 four-thousand-metre peaks visible from the summit. Inside, visitors experience the amazing true-to-life surroundings in every dimension. The exhibition is housed in the former Hohtälli cable-car station.

Die zweite Stufe entführt die Besucher in verschiedenste Szenarien der vier Jahreszeiten am Matterhorn – von eisigen Schneelandschaften über orkanartige Herbststürme bis hin zu blühenden Frühlingswiesen und lauen Sommerabenden. Dank Lichtprojektionen von drei Seiten und einer detailgetreuen Matterhornnachbildung empfinden die Besucher die virtuelle Umgebung als nahezu reales Erlebnis, bei dem sie selbst agieren können. In der dritten Stufe richtet sich der Blick schliesslich auf das reale Matterhorn und die umgebende alpine Bergwelt in ihrer ganzen Dimension und Schönheit. Mit Periskopen lässt sich diese ganz nahe heranholen. Grafische Ankerpunkte im Blickfeld der Besucher liefern ergänzende Informationen zum jeweiligen Thema. Abgerundet wird die multimediale Inszenierung von zahlreichen, erlebbaren Informationen zu historisch bedeutenden Ereignissen, zur hochalpinen Natur mit ihrer einzigartigen Flora, Fauna und Gletschern sowie zur Geschichte der Gornergrat Bahn. This multimedia experience is rounded off by a cornucopia of information about historically significant events, the high-altitude countryside with its unique flora, fauna and glaciers, and the history of the Gornergrat railway. Dort besteigen Sie die geschichtsträchtige Gornergrat Bahn und schlängeln sich langsam den Weg hoch zum Gornergrat, dem zweiten Highlight der Reise. Auf 3‘089 m ü. M. zeigt sich das Matterhorn von seiner schönsten Seite. Besuchen Sie die multimediale Erlebniswelt Zooom the Matterhorn. Machen Sie es sich auf der Sonnenterrasse des Kulmhotels bequem und lassen Sie sich kulinarisch verwöhnen. Gestärkt, entspannt und voller Eindrücke bringt Sie die Zahnradbahn komfortabel zurück ins Zentrum von Zermatt. Heute präsentiert sich der Berg mit seinen Zahnrad- und Seilbahnen als einzigartiges Bergbahnenparadies. Einsteigen, Platz nehmen und die Fahrt geniessen. Atemberaubende Aussichten sorgen dabei für ein imposantes Bahnerlebnis. Bis Ende 2022 fahren Kinder bis und mit 15 Jahren in Begleitung einer erwachsenen Person kostenlos.

On 21 May 1871, Europe’s first mountain railway departed from Vitznau for Rigi Staffelhöhe, marking a milestone in the history of the Rigi. Today, the Rigi is a unique mountain railway paradise with its cogwheel railways and aerial cableways. Climb aboard, take a seat and enjoy the ride. Breathtaking views ensure an impressive railway and cableway experience. Disembark and enjoy – it’s that simple. Because of the railways recently celebrated 150th anniversary, children under the age of 16 travel in 2021 and 2022 for free if they are accompanied by an adult.
