HERE’S HOW IT WORKS If you’re selected for our prestigious, full-tuition fellowship, you will: • Complete a year-long field-based experience in a partner school • Begin your evening coursework in the summer and start your professional placement in mid-August • Earn your 36-credit Master of Education in Teacher Education in one year, tuition free THE MASTER OF EDUCATION PROGRAM ALLOWS YOU TO EARN AN INITIAL LICENSE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
• Early Childhood Education (PreK–2) • Elementary (1–6) • Moderate Disabilities (PreK–8)
• English as a Second Language (PreK–6) • Middle (5–8) and High School (8–12)
As a fellow, you will perform the duties of a classroom teacher, as well as act as a member of the school staff. You will also participate in numerous in-class and out-of-class activities which prepare you to become a classroom teacher. APPLICATION PROCESS
As a first step, you will be notified on a rolling basis of a decision into the Teacher Education graduate program. You may be invited to interview for a fellowship position based on the strength of your application.

Note: The Teacher Education Fellowship is open to all academic majors and backgrounds. While previous education coursework and experience are helpful, they are not required. Depending on the major and/or licensure sought, additional coursework may be necessary.
