As our world becomes increasingly more complex and interconnected, the demand for criminal and social justice grows. Through an innovative curriculum focused on theory, research, policy, and practice, students in the Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Merrimack are prepared to take on 21st century criminal justice issues related to law enforcement, policy analysis, and justice advocacy and reform. Our students have analyzed crime data, evaluated rehabilitation programs and tracked inmates at a pre-release center. By engaging in dynamic, real-world field experiences like these, you’ll be ready to pursue a fulfilling career in a criminal justice organization or advance professionally in your current career.

$893 per credit hour*
The M.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice is 32 credit hours ($28,576)
Applicants for full and part-time study (excluding fellowships) are eligible for the Dean Scholarship, which is awarded based on merit and need. This generous scholarship, in addition to our already low tuition, can help you save significantly on tuition costs.

At Merrimack, you’ll acquire the expertise you need for criminology and criminal justice careers in law enforcement, victim assistance, juvenile justice, corrections and other fields. Students will take four core courses and tailor their education by choosing one of our two tracks:
1. Law Enforcement in the 21st Century
2. Justice and Advocacy Reform.
