Imran Khan gets his own app based on Angry Birds ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, the former cricketer- turnedpolitician has received perhaps the ultimate accolade with his very own smartphone app — Angry Imran, based on Angry Birds. Angry Imran has been downloaded several thousand times since it was released for android phones and tablets three days ago. Its developers say they are stunned by the excitement it has generated. Players catapult Imran into the giant heads of Pakistan's political leaders, smashing his way through wooden planks and stone plinths, as he vies for control of key cities before marching on the capital Islamabad. “ I find it quite funny,” said Khan on Friday, whose party rallies have certainly seen him develop an angry streak as he denounces drone strikes and American aggression in Afghanistan. “ Status quo is petrified of Pakistan Tehreek- e- Insaf ( PTI) especially after our Rawalpindi tsunami.” Last

weekend, he attracted 90,000 supporters to a rally in Rawalpindi. In the computer game, he must sweep away the heads of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, the main opposition leader, and Altaf Hussain, who rules the city of Karachi from exile in London. Victory at each stage is greeted by the voice of Khan roaring ‘ Tabdeeli agayi hai ’ — Urdu for the change has come. The game was put together by a group of budding young developers, who call themselves CreatiXe.

IT’S WAR OF THE BUMS BETWEEN KYLIE AND PIPPA!

LONDON: Pop princess Kylie Minogue has challenged Pippa Middleton to a royal battle of the bums. The Aussie singer has vowed to have a “ bum- off” with the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister at Monday’s Diamond Jubilee concert. Pippa ( 28) threatened to upstage Kate on her wedding day last April, when her shapely rear stole headlines around the world. But Kylie, whose pert behind sent pulses racing in a tiny pair of gold hotpants in the video for Spinning Around, is not prepared to give up her crown just yet. Kylie, who celebrated her 44th birthday on Monday, revealed her cheeky plan on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man TV show. Asked whether she would have a “ bum- off” with her rear nemesis, Kylie said: “ I’m going to have to. “ I’ll definitely have to be like ‘ Oh!’, drop something and pick it up off the ground!” Kylie is set to perform at the concert, which will celebrate the Queen’s 60 years on the throne, but admitted that she is nervous about singing in front of the Royal Family.

The Aussie pop princess has vowed to reclaim her ‘ best bum’ crown from Pippa Middleton when she takes to the stage for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert

She added: “ I can’t tell you much about the performance, but what I can say is that I’m doing a medley. I’ve had a re-

hearsal and I had a very terrified expression! It’s really exciting, nerves aside, I can’t wait.”
