Autumn 2021

Dear Supporter Welcome to our Autumn edition of Meath Matters, a quarterly round up of news and achievements across The Meath. From the Skills Centre’s fabulous September fair and forthcoming exhibition at Godalming Museum, to the Royal Visit to Changing Perceptions, we have enjoyed a busy autumn and have much to update you on! The Fundraising and Marketing team have been extremely busy; October saw a fantastic charity screening of ‘No Time to Die’ at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre which brought in some much needed income after a long period of being unable to fundraise with events. The team have also been busy creating a fabulous new Meath film which is out soon and are preparing for our much needed ‘Sustain & Maintain’ Christmas fundraising appeal. Sadly due to the pandemic, we are not holding our annual Carol Service at St Clement Danes Church. It is always a very special occasion, and it also brings in much needed fundraised income for the charity. However I am pleased to invite you to enjoy our Carol Service on film in your own home, the film will be released as part of our Christmas appeal and we are delighted that we have a very special friend to The Meath introducing it this year. Thank you to all of you who have supported us with these projects and events over the autumn. It’s a busy time of year for all so I do hope that you can enjoy few moments of peace to find out more about our exciting projects and most importantly, the impact they have on the wonderful people we support. With best wishes

Lindsay Perryman, CEO
