Nora Bakaa, RS PhD Candidate Project Titles: Feasibility of a Presurgical Rehabilitation Program for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Supervisor: Dr. Luciana Macedo
Brief Overview and Progress to Date For my pilot RCT, Prehabilitation for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, we have completed recruitment for this study and have just started the final stages of follow-up. There will be two manuscripts for this study - the pilot RCT and the longitudinal qualitative interviews that were competed as part of the mixed-methods design. In addition, I have completed several studies as part other ongoing projects that are not part of my main PhD thesis. Specifically, I was looking at cultural competency among rehabilitation providers. I have published five papers from this work.
