Yuma Patriot Festival Featuring Maddie & Tae and David Nail

The 2016 Patriot Festival is a new endeavor created to bring Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, the City of Yuma & surrounding areas together for a day of celebration and thanks. It is the beginning of something new, established to unite these wonderful communities for a day of festivities only MCAS Yuma can provide. With the introduction of the Patriot Festival, MCAS Yuma will alternate between the Air Show and the Festival. This allows Marine Corps Air Station Yuma to diversify the style of entertainment provided, while retaining the spirt of a large-scale open house event. The goal is to have something enjoyable for everyone at the festival and to demonstrate the military’s appreciation for the tremendous support the community of Yuma has always provided the installation, our Marines, Sailors and their families. The Patriot Festival will include free day events such as the “Military Battle Challenge” obstacle course, modern aircraft and military vehicle displays, live local bands, motivational speakers, food vendors and much more entertainment for all ages. The paid evening concert will feature musical performances by two of this year’s most popular Country Music Award artists, Maddie & Tae and David Nail. Tickets will be available for purchase to the public starting in November. The Patriot Festival provides a unique opportunity for sponsors to gain local, regional and national exposure as well as publicity on surrounding military installations. In addition to brand exposure, all support of the 2016 Patriot Festival directly impacts the quality of support programs MCAS Yuma provides its Marines, Sailors and their families.
