Hello Neighbor,
Since 1931, May eld Junior School has challenged students to reach their potential by following the Holy Child philosophy of developing the Whole child as an intellectual, spiritual, creative, and athletic person. We strive to fully equip students, so they are best prepared for high and beyond, and to ultimately contribute to making our world a better place.

Head of School, Joe Sciuto, said it best, “A faculty of the highest quality, working with the most innovative teaching and learning resources available, this is how we best support and serve our students...”
Continuing to create e ective teaching environments is critical to student learning. May eld, however, last completed a major campus improvement project more than 20 years ago with the development of the Lower School.

After three years of thoughtful planning including a series of community meetings, the City of Pasadena unanimously approved May eld’s Master Plan in February 2023 which includes a center for teaching and learning, an expanded underground parking area that adds nearly 90 new parking spaces reducing neighborhood impact, and an improved, environmentally friendly outdoor playing eld.
Construction is scheduled to begin early June 2023. As always, we are committed to informing you of potential impacts. Please contact Project Superintendent, Robert Van Brunt, at (951)-529-6294 or Project Engineer, Aaron Wong, at (323) 227-1411 if you have any comments, questions, or concerns. “To do anything well we must do it with our heart, with our mind, and with our strength for the love of God, of ourselves, and of our neighbor.”
- Cornelia Connelly, Founderof the
Society of the Holy Child Jesus(5) Organized by Parent Association volunteers and supported by librarian Tatiana Guyer, Mayfield Junior School's spring Recycle & Read was a rousing success. This early morning event had a sweet twist—Donuts with Dads & Special Friends! Eager kindergarten to 8th-grade students explored books with loved ones while enjoying donuts and refreshments.
