MJS Branch Neighborhood Newsletter Hello Neighbor,

Summer 2018

The 2017-18 year at Mayfield Junior School has come to a close and the crescendo of the academic year has passed. With the celebration and graduation of 61 eighth-grade students at our recent commencement ceremonies, the emotional connection that binds us together at Mayfield is now centered on appreciating the past and looking forward to tomorrow. The natural transition of the calendar is something that inspires us. It is a blessing to share a community where optimism is woven into the personal, academic, and spiritual and developmental growth of our kindergarten to eighth-grade students. The excitement of being a student today is directly related to the dynamic and stimulating environment we seek to provide. The importance and value of placing children at the center of school life is something MJS holds high. The MJS Branch offers insight into the Mayfield Junior School community. We hope you enjoy a snapshot of our Catholic Holy Child culture and invite you to attend campus events and programs. Please learn more at mayfieldjs.org/neighbor or call (626) 229-2107.

"When you create a Loving World, you will then live in a Loving World. You have that kind of power through your Love. You might say, but I am only one person, or you can say, I'm the person who is going to make a difference in our world." - Headmaster Joseph J. Gill 2018 Commencement Ceremony
