Welcome It might still be cold most days, but warmer spring days are in our sights – which means there are lots of fresh ways to engage with your community! Re-energize your workout routine with small group training programs. Stick With It and Women and Weights are back this season, along with your favorite Pilates classes. There are two opportunities to join our whole Cincinnati Jewish community to take in our city’s best sports and theatre. Join us on May 9 for Jewish Community Night at Playhouse in the Park for their production of The Chosen. Then kick off summer at the ballpark for Jewish Community Night at the Reds on June 6.

Theatre at the J brings the ocean and the magic of Disney to our Amberley Room stage. Join us for this year’s production of Moana JR featuring all your favorite young Theatre at the J stars. This year more than ever, we want to welcome you to participate in the modern Israeli holidays with us, marking Holocaust Remembrance Day and Israel Memorial Day, and celebrating Israel Independence Day. PILATES PILATES REFORMER Ages 16+ March 11 - May 31 Training options available J Members: Starting at $260

Perform more than 100 exercises in our Pilates Reformer Studio for an effective, joint-friendly, no-impact workout. All Pilates training participants must have completed the three required 30-minute private sessions before enrolling.

SPECIALTY PILATES RESTORATIVE STRETCH PILATES Ages 16+ March 12 - May 30 J Members: Starting at $286

This Pilates group training will restore and renew muscles through a combination of targeted stretches. The workout will connect body-mind-spirit, focusing on breathing to engage a full body workout. This group welcomes beginner and intermediate levels.

Take your Pilates to the next level with a “wunda chair”/tower class. This class will build core stability, upper body strength, and increase overall physical conditioning! This is an intermediate to advance level program. Six months of consecutive Pilates Reformer experience is required.

Ages 16+ March 3 - May 20 | Mayerson JCC Sundays: 9am Mondays: 1pm Tuesdays: 7pm J Members: FREE | Public: $35 Pickleball combines tennis and table tennis into a fast-paced, exciting game. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, we have a spot for you!

PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT Ages 16+ Sunday, March 10 8am - 1pm | Mayerson JCC J Members: $28 | Public: $36

This doubles competition offers both a competitive division for experienced players and a recreational division for newer players. The JCC Men's Basketball League provides its players a fun environment for friendly competition and team camaraderie. The season has a 10-game regular season, tournament, All Star Game, and awards. It's going to be a great season.

MEN’S FAST PITCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE

Ages 18+ Wednesdays March 27 - September 4 6:15pm | Triple Creek J Members: $179 | Public: $259 Since 1945, the JCC Men's Fast Pitch Softball League has offered league players friendly competition and team camaraderie in a fun atmosphere. The league plays a 16-game regular season, tournament, All-Star Game, and hosts an award ceremony at the end of the season.


INCLUSION For children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities who are able to participate independently or with the help of their own personal care assistant. These inclusive classes are taught by our Schloss Special Needs and Services instructors and advocates.

In this exciting, team-focused exercise class, participants will work on basketball fundamentals while socializing and being active. Participants should be able to engage independently or with the help of their own personal care aide.

Swim Lessons at the J

We offer year-round swim lessons for all ages and abilities. Our aquatics program is designed to teach personal water safety and stroke development. All lessons are taught by certified instructors with private, semi-private, and group options available. Group lessons cannot be prorated, refunded, or made up, due to limited class capacity.

This class is designed to provide a joyful, loving, child-centered environment featuring songs and activities to encourage skill acquisition while developing a love of the water. An adult is required to be in the water during this class with each child.

In this class students will follow an activity-oriented approach that utilizes child-centered progression for the following skills: submersion, breath control and breath holding, front, back and in-line kicking, and basic surface swimming.

This class is designed to accommodate motor skills and learning based on the child's age. The instructor will cover the following skills: breath holding and control, flutter kicking on front and back, in-line kicking, and freestyle.

Join the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center, the Mayerson JCC, and Jewish Family Service for this year’s Yom HaShoah commemoration to remember and mourn the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and to honor the survivors.

Join the Cincinnati community for a memorial service to honor the soldiers and victims of terror who gave their lives in defense of the State of Israel. With the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 and the ongoing war, this annual community commemoration will offer additional meaning and significance.

Thursday, May 30, 2024 Losantiville Country Club The J Classic is the Mayerson JCC's largest annual fundraising event. Each summer, hundreds of people gather at Losantiville Country Club for a great day of activities, including the Adams Golf Tournament, tennis, pickleball, canasta, mah-jongg, Course of Caterers Dinner, J Classic Raffle, and the Young Adult Par-Tee.

CMC HERITAGE MEMORIAL HALL TOUR Monday, April 1 10am - 3pm | Memorial Hall $40 includes tour and transportation; lunch is on your own Join us for this docent-led indoor tour of the Memorial Hall Building in OTR. Built in 1908 by the Grand Army of the Republic, the Hamilton County Memorial Building stands as a monument to the Cincinnati veterans of the Spanish-American War and the U.S. Civil War. Designed by Samuel Hannaford & Sons, the hall features marble staircases adorned with intricate wrought iron that lead to the 556-seat proscenium theater, dubbed the Annie W. and Elizabeth M. Anderson Theater. After our tour, we will eat lunch in OTR.

Let’s tour the amazing Lloyd Library and Museum to learn about plant-based science, medicine, conservation, art and history. We will also enjoy the Flora Mania exhibit, celebrating the rich history of botanical illustration through the lens of the Lloyd’s robust collection.

We will travel to Springfield, Ohio to tour the restored Frank Lloyd Wright design built in 1908. Through the cooperative efforts of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy and the Westcott House Foundation, today the Westcott House is an important rediscovery, a notable, newly unearthed and revitalized example of Wright's legacy. We will enjoy brunch out before our tour.
