Welcome As the nights grow longer and the days get shorter, the J is bringing the light and vibrancy into the winter months.

This past year brought many challenges and obstacles that resulted in accelerated learning, the implementation of innovative practices, and unlimited opportunities that we are taking full advantage of across our entire organization.

We are heading into 2021 stronger, smarter, and more unified than ever before.

We want you to jumpstart 2021 with us! The majority of our programs are accessible both within our doors and from the comfort of your home, further unifying our community and allowing us to expand our reach and impact far past physical borders.

Start off the new year on the right foot with our most popular fitness challenge, Commit to Be Fit. Our personal trainers maximize your weekly workouts to help you become your best and healthiest self. Our trainers, along with some exciting incentives, will spur you to achieve your fitness goals.

For the first time ever, the Mayerson JCC Jewish & Israeli Film Festival will be hosted virtually! Reaching a larger audience than ever, we are excited to further unify our community through the Film Festival. Skip the lines and take a front row seat as we experience, learn, and enjoy international Jewish and Israeli films together.

No matter the weather or what is going on in the world, find peace, stability, and value with us as we continue to connect people so that they can live happier and fuller lives, creating a more vibrant Jewish community. TEEN ORIENTATION Ages 13 - 15 Ongoing At the J FREE with RSVP New to the J or just want a refresher? Teens can gain exclusive access to the J’s expansive Fitness Center after completing this informative orientation session with a JCC Personal Trainer. AFTERBURNER SUSPENSION TRAINING Ages 16+ Session 1: January 7 – February 11 Session 2: February 18 – March 25 At the J J Member: $120; Public: $180 All skill levels are invited to join this class on our state-of-the-art suspension training unit. You’ll strengthen muscles, increase stamina, and have fun! All exercises are adjustable to your ability and focus on developing stabilizer muscles and core strength. Use your WIRED heart rate tracking device throughout this 50-minute class to monitor your progress and maximize the impact of your workout, helping you burn more calories even after you leave class! Come hang out with us on our adult jungle gym where playing is encouraged.

PILATES REFORMER Ages 16+ January 4 – March 13 At the J J Member: Starting at $220 Get individualized instruction in a group atmosphere in our Pilates Reformer Studio. Our Pilates Reformer Studio offers a private setting with 5 reformers. More than 100 exercises can be performed on this versatile apparatus that works with springs and straps. Exercises on the reformer improve stability and alignment while working on a range of motion. You’ll receive a no-impact workout that is joint-friendly. Mayerson JCC Disability Inclusion Awareness Programs For children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities who are able to participate independently or with the help of their own personal care assistant.These engaging programs educate, advocate, and inspire through interactive workshops, exciting arts programs, and fitness classes.

These inclusive classes are taught by our Schloss Special Needs and Services instructors and advocates. How do you know your arthritis or other joint damage needs attention? Experiencing joint pain doesn’t automatically mean that you should have a joint replacement. Joint replacement surgery is generally performed for late stages of degenerative arthritis (also called osteoarthritis), after other options have failed.

ShalomPhone This FREE outreach program provides socialization as well as regular safety checks by volunteer callers. We also offer emergency assurance devices at a discounted monthly rate.

The Senior Center Membership (ASK) allows seniors aged 60+ to participate in any programs offered by the Senior Center, but does not include access to the Fitness Center, Aquatic Center/pools, or indoor walking track.
