For those adventure lovers who enjoy the thrill of wildlife tourism, Chhattisgarh offers more than what is imaginable. It is a bird watcher's paradise as well. Owing to its varied sights of rough mountains, unfathomable gorges and lush green forests, the area is most suited to a wide variery of flora and fauna, untainted by human interference. Here you can see nature uninterrupted, in all its beauty.

To make the visit more experiential, the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB) recently launched the 'Raman Jan Paryatan Yojana'. Chhattisgarh Tourism Board will arrange tours to Naya Raipur besides Sirpur, Giraudpuri, Barnavapara, Chitrakote, Teerathgarh and other tourist places including Tala, Malhar, Shivrinarayan and Ratanpur on prescribed dates.

Achanakmar tiger and biosphere reserve A variety of wild fauna is seen here tiger, leopard, bison and Indian giant squirrel - with flourishing vegetation like sal, bija and tinsa along with over 600 species of medicinal plants. The winding Maniyari river is the lifeline of the reserve.
