The move you look at architecture with its artistic elements, not solely a purposeful structure, transforms the idea of what architecture truly is in our built environment. I wanted to capture the complementary relationship between architecture and photography through principles of color, composition, scale, but most importantly, the ability to communicate through a visual language. I explored the architectural designs by architects across the world with a deeper and intriguing mindset. Instead of taking a series of photographs of skyscrapers, I experimented by focusing on each structure’s unique features and elements that spoke to me. With a driving focus of repetition and shifting color scheme from blue tones to black and white, I narrow the scale to showcase how architecture architecture and are not just towering skyscrapers, but also fine details that make a skyscraper complete.
