INDEX COLLECTION

TWILL

specchio, floor mirror martina bartoli, 2018

A clear reference to a weaving motif: the rectangular Twill mirror is a tribute to the men’s tailoring, citing the strong diagonal weave, which is created by weaving the threads in order to create a structure orientedat 45 °, used to give unprecedented reflections to plain-colored fabrics.

TRESSE

specchio, mirror

martina bartoli, 2018

Diagonal bands of reflecting surface, which overlap in an elegant optical effect with as many bands of colored mirror: this hexagonal mirror recalls the most classic of bon ton hairstyles.

TRIPLO

tavolini, small table martina bartoli, 2019

The project springs from the Ccncept of dissecting a flat rest surface into three different heights, to obtain three table tops. Made from solid wood, the wood grain, emphasized by an aniline finish, echoes this rotation with a geometric pattern in which the tops appear to be chasing each other. The resulting movement is further underlined by a light weight structure, supported by three slender steel rods. The wood tops, acting as a link betwen one rod and another, also become proper structural elements conferring stability to the table.
