Eachyear,MarymountInternationalSchoolLondon offersalimitednumberofMiddleYearsProgramme (MYP)ScholarshipsfornewGrade6students.These scholarshipslastuntiltheendofGrade10*.Duringthe Grade10year,thereareopportunitiesforstudentsto applyforourGrade11and12International BaccalaureateDiplomaScholarshipProgramme.

Theletterof150to200wordsshouldbehandwrittenandtell uswhyyouwouldmakeanexcellentMYPScholarship student.
Thelettershouldinclude: WhyyouareapplyingforaMYPScholarship? Whatdoesitmeantoachieveexcellenceinyour schoolworkandyourhobbies? Whatareyourhopesanddreamforyourfuture?
Additionally,wewouldlikeyoutotellusaboutadifficultyor challengeyouhavefacedinthelastyear(eitherinoroutof school)anddescribewhatyoudidtoovercomeit. Pleasescanorphotographyourletteranduploaditontoour OpenApplysystem.
2.Theportfolioofworkandreflections
Wewouldlikeyoutosharetwopiecesofworkwhichyouare proudof,and/orwhichshowlinkstooneormoreoftheIB LearnerProfilequalities.Thesepiecesshouldhavebeen completedinthelastacademicyear.
Youmustselecttwoindividualpiecesofworkand,usingthe guidingprompts,produceawrittenreflectionforeach.The pieceofworkshouldbeuploadedbeloweachreflection,either intheformofadocument,scannedcopyorphotograph.

Thisshouldbeapieceofworkthatyouareproudofandthe reflectionshouldfocusonwhythisisthecase.Theworkyou choosetosharemightbeapieceinwhichyouachievedan excellentfinaloutcome.Equally,itmightbeanexample whereyourfinalmarkmaynothavebeenthehighest,butyou learnedalotfromitorovercameaspecificchallenge.
