The Mission of Marymount: Our Guiding Star

arymount families all over the world recognise the RSHM Mission 'That All May Have Life' and the six school goals that it inspires. Together, they remain at the heart of the work we do. They are woven organically into all we hope for our students, what we aspire to as a teaching faculty, how we make decisions as a leadership and governing team, and what we share with our sister RSHM schools around the globe. The mission of Marymount London follows logically from that of the Order. Interwoven with the attributes of the IB Learner Profile, the refreshed mission statement reflects our teaching and learning and echoes many of the values so important to our identity as a Catholic school with a diverse student body.
Marymount International School London is an independent, Catholic, all-girls, IB world school that empowers young women to be “firm in faith, vibrant in hope, rooted in love and one in service.� Marymount students question, challenge and contribute meaningfully as intellectual and compassionate global citizens. This mission, updated this year for the 2020s and beyond, is our guiding star in all decisions and actions. We are delighted and proud that it is reflected in the spirit of Marymount girls.
