From Ms Simpson

How has Marymount adapted to support students emotionally and spiritually?

The care and support of our students during lockdown and enforced school closures has been an ongoing and key priority for the School. Careful thought and consideration was given to the ways we could ensure our community “in the air” continued to feel connected whilst working from home – whether this be in the UK or overseas. Advisor continued to run throughout the week, with Advisors organising activities and opportunities for social engagement for students. The use of Teams Live also provided exciting opportunities to use new technology and to connect through Whole School Assemblies and Homerooms. Guided Prayer continued to be offered to support students’ well-being, allowing Marymount girls to take some much-needed time for themselves – this being more important than ever before as our home, school and work lives merged into one.
