StudentsinGrade10havetheopportunitytoapplyforan IB Diploma Scholarship tolastthedurationoftheirIBDiploma/IBDiplomaCourses studiesinGrade11andGrade12.
TheIBDiplomaScholarshipprogrammeisdesignedtorecogniseand celebrateexcellence,effortandengagementinspecificaspectsofschool lifeandprovideaplatformforrecipientstoextendandenrichtheir learningandexpertise.Scholarshipstudentsarealsoexpectedtoberole models,settingandmaintaininghighstandardsinalltheydoandputting theirmyriadgiftsandtalentsattheserviceofschoolandwider communitiestowhichtheybelong.Inmostcases,therefore,Scholarship studentswilltakeonandfulfiladditionalresponsibilitiesthatmarkthem outasleaderswithintheschool.

AcademicScholarship
The recipient of an Academic Scholarship will be entitled to a personalised Formal Written Plan in up to three subject areas and a reduction of tuition fees.
Thisscholarshipfocuseson academic excellence.Tobeeligibletoapply foranacademicscholarship,applicantsmustbeconsistentlyachievingat the highest level academicallyinarangeofsubjects.Academic achievementismeasuredusingastudent’sAverageGrade,determinedby calculatingaverageperformanceinGrades9andfirstsemesterofgrade10.
CRITERIA:
StudentscanapplyforanAcademicScholarshipiftheyhave an Average Grade of 6.25 orabove,withnoindividualgradelowerthan a5andnoEffortgradelowerthanaB.

ArtsScholarship
The recipient of an Arts Scholarship will be entitled to a personalised Formal Written Plan in up to two Arts subjects and a reduction in tuition fees.
Thisscholarshipfocuseson excellence in the Arts (Music,VisualArt, Dance,Design,Dramaetc.).Tobeeligible,applicantsmustbeableto demonstrateaspecificcreativeand/orartistictalentaswellasinvolvement inandcommitmenttoatleastoneareaoftheArtsoverasustainedperiod oftime.
CRITERIA: Aspecificartistictalentmightinclude(butnotbelimited to):
Playingamusicalinstrument/singingatahighlevel(ABRSMGrade6 andabove)andperformingeitherinoroutsideschoolonaregular basis
Actingand/ordancingatahighlevel(LAMDA,RADdance examinationsGrade6andabove)andperformingeitherinoroutside schoolonaregularbasis.
Producingvisualartworksofthehighestqualityasjudgedby specialists
Producingdesignofthehighestqualityasjudgedbyexperts EnteringandachievingwellininternalandexternalArtand/or Designcompetitions.
Designingartworkfortheschoolcampusand/orschoolpublications, suchasprogrammecovers,presentationsetc.
Involvementandcommitmentwouldinvolve:

CRITERIA: Evidenceofexcellenceinsportshouldincludebutnotbe limitedto:

CRITERIA: Thisshouldinclude(butnotbelimitedto):
Membershipofaservice-orientedschoolleadershipgroup(SGIC, NHS,BoardingFundraisingCounciletc.)
Membershipofandparticipationintonon-schoolorganisations devotedtoservice(localchurch,local/national/internationalcharity, volunteeringetc.)

All-RounderScholarship
The recipient of an All-Rounder Scholarships will be entitled to a Formal Written Plan in two or more areas of school life (depending on the application) and a reduction of tuition fees.
Thisscholarshipisdesignedtorecogniseexcellenceinmultipleareasof schoollifeandisthereforeperhapsthemostchallengingtoapplyfor.Tobe eligible,studentsmustbeabletodemonstrate academic excellence aswell asexcellencein one other scholarship areai.e.Arts,SportsorService.In otherwords,studentswillneedtomeettheapplicationcriteriaforthe Academic Scholarship aswellasthecriteriaforeitherArts,Sportsor Service.
CRITERIA
