To the Seniors:

There are many ways the class of 2005 has distinguished itself in terms of scholarship, athletic prowess, music, contributions to the Community Service Program and your excellent list of college acceptances. There is, however, a major distinction you have that sets you apart from all others: I will be graduating with you. You are the last group of students that I will see off into the future. We share feelings of both excitement and nervousness about what is to come. This makes you very special to me. Nine of you began here in September 2001, and you eventually became hard working, loyal, helpful members of the community, the ones we have looked to for leadership. We all thank you for that. The rest of you joined us gradually over the next few years, adding your particular skills and contributing to the eclectic (look it up) make-up of the class. Some of you have beautiful voices, some have lacrosse skill, some did well on the AP Calculus and Statistics Exams, some have eaten prodigious amounts of noodles; you have shown us your accomplished and zany acting and filmmaking talents; former sluggards proved to be excellent Frisbee players and the Wrestling Team took the league title. You studied famous management/labor conflicts, wrote to Kofi Annan urging UN action in Darfur, did turtle trapping, late night salamander searches and, of course, studied Hamlet -even after thinking you had killed the play’s author.

So what’s next? What will life be like in college without the almost automatic support system you have had at Marvelwood? Will you have the determination to see your dreams become reality? I hope so. We are all counting on you to make us proud and yourselves happy. Best wishes for the future.

Well where do I begin? ; ] The reason 1 was here for four years is because of my family. My aunts and my mother are such a big part of my life. They are the ones who got me into Mar\'elwood. Mom: you may not have wanted me to leave but we both know that the out come was well worth it. Thank you for being supportive of me leaving to come to Marvelwood even though sometimes you didn’t I really want to be. You are wonderful mom. I love you. Aunt Lorr: You are the best aunt. You keep me going and always bring me back up when I’m down. When I am afraid of a challenge you remind me of what is important and help my find courage in my self. To my entire family: I hope 1 have made you all proud. Even though you weren’t at school with me you all helped me and supported me. You all have influenced me in some way that contributed to my growth through out my life into becoming the person 1 am today and will become in the future. Mv Buddies! Janette a.k.a. Nettea: you know we have had 4 crazy years! It wouldn’t have been the same if you weren’t here. When we became roommates we went through a lol together. We have some good times and some bad limes. In the end we formed a great friendship that 1 hope we keep even after we go to college. You helped me in times of need whether it was emotional help or homework help. Thank you Nettea for being a good person and friend! Stay the way you are. 1 know you can do what ever you want in life. Ebony a.k.a. Cccee: Ok so sometimes w'e could really gel on each other’s nerves lol, but who doesn’t get annoyed by their friends sometimes? I am glad 1 met you we have spent some funny moments together that I will not forget. You are such a strong person and you can’t be brought down easily. I admire that about you. I hope you find what ever it is that you want to do and become very successful with it. = ) Ms. Jami Jam. you are a fun girl. You surprised every one when we found out how loud you really can be! You were just hiding it all along the first year. Good luck with your future! Becky: We made it!! We have so many memories from freshman year. The enemy, Mr. Dennehy. Bing’s English class. Dance your heart out in college I will mis.s you. Jordan, Los, Shou, Andrew P, Andrew S.,and Chuck choi: Good luck guys! Mimi, Precious, Ashley, Ellie, good luck guys with your future love ya. Teachers: .Mr.E: you are a great math teacher and advisor, thanks to you math was a little bit easier for me. You guys had the best advisee dinners. 1 will miss you and your wife so much. .Mrs. Woodward: you had 3 years of teaching me! Not only did you leach me history and w'omen’s studies but you also taught me about life. Thank you so much. .Mr. .Mac:! had a good freshman year with you. .Mrs. K: you are a like a friend to me. Having art as a sport with you was great, you are always a person ! feel comfortable talking to about what ever is on my mind. Thanks Ms. K for being so cool. Lisa Warner: my mom at school. You watch over Janette and me and now it is our time to leave. You treat us like wc are your own daughters and I will not forget that. I will come and see you after 1 graduate. Ms. Burk and .Mr.K: this year was my first year of having you both as teachers. Mr. K thank you for all your math help and patience with me. Greg Blackwell Milford, CT To my dear friends and family. I have gone through four years of high school. My first one being a glorious catholic school and Marvelwood being my pulse-pounding saucy experience. It has been awesome to bask in the glory of my fellow classmates and teachers and thank them all for helping me out and being my good allies. For starters I would like to thank my family, who without them, I probally wouldn’t have been able to fuind this school. I want to also thank all my teachers for growing grey hairs when working with me and thank them for helping me through some tough stuff. I have had soo many experiences here I don’t know where to start. So here it goes.

My dear Justin Becker, You are a very delightful young man, we should bother Proctor after school my brother. To Proctor- That’s not soft core! That’s downright Hard! Good times my good roommate. To Warrenyou are a sloppy animal and its glorious to think back to all the things we did to each other and people in the dorm . keep in touch boy. To Big Guy- Have a good life and I hope you meet other various big guys in your life. To Scags- don’t forget to put a note on the door, Lipton- there’s a sloppy mess on that computer:) Landow- good luck with your drama stuff and keep watching buffy, u fanny orc. To Miss. Lindberg, u will be my general in my rocket army. You were a really good teacher and cool to be around. To Mr. Mason Backer is waiting outside for you, I don’t know why ©, I had an awesome time this year with you and good luck with graduate school. To Mrs. Wemtz, You are the official chicken nugget of Marvelwood and I just wanted to say thank you very much for the help in skills, you backed me up a real lot and stopped me from messing up a huge amount. To Forbes sauce- the world is your lobster, enjoy my brother. To Young double D, you handsome young man, have a nice life. Mr. Colin Holiday- You are my official brother. Tessa- SNARL, we had some glorious times, Yasemin- O YEAH! Ill miss talking to you. Seth- Stay clean and stay beastly. To Merv- You are a lobster cake, John Daley- There will be extra sauce for you at graduation. Sunya- Whats up baby, enjoy the fruit of life 00. Dan Grossman- You hairy beast, ill meet you at the Olive Garden man. Phillip Smythe- don’t forget about Tenochtitlan and the ways of the rocket warrior. To anybody I have left out, take it easy and enjoy your life that is your lobster. SALFCE

Hailey Glassman New City, NY NAT- School wouldn't have been the same without you! Our late night talks until 3 in the morning, our inside jokes, ReadingRead, HAIR! BABY-POWDER! 19!The OC music. Your nightmare-ha-ha. We ha\’e too many inside jokes to say. We know each other so well that it's hard to call others best friends. You are my life long friend. Its weird to think we wont be living together at school anymore. It's weird to think in the beginning of the school year we were roommates and I gave you the boot because you were TOO MESSY for me. Now we lose our breaks and have to do all the work jobs in the dorm because we are in each other's rooms-ha-ha. Calling you my Best Friend isn't even the right word for us its more like sisters/family/mother-daughter! Love you< Who you going to cuddle with next year? HA-HA MAL- we have had a lot of interesting nights< beh\^een the poking, pillow fighting, and chasing, you have given me pretty good work outs. Too bad they didn't help me lose weight< ha-ha. You and 1 can never figure out whose is worse: but lets come to a conclusion and make a deal< THEY'RE BOTH BAD< EQUALLY! HA-HA. Oh yeah before I forget I NEVER TOOK YOUR SOUP! I would like to thank my family for putting up with all my crazy ideas over the past 5 years, one of them being me deciding to go to this school. Lucky for me it turned out all right in the end! I would like to give special thx to my grandma who has taken me into her home and done every thing in her power to see that I succeed in life and, most of all, that I'm happy. Thanks. Now onto the inner jokes that everyone has been waiting for. Carlos Sants: Stank Footer// / Robert Lipton: remember that time in that place? no not really!///Westin: GO DICE ROLL!!///Proctor: blueber ries!/ // Blackwell: Got lobster/// My dormies!:remember the garbage cans and chair and wall sports///Gerard: ...stay frosty///Sandburg: your fired/// Adult Swim: why do kittens taste so good?... I don't know I can't say the same about the veal though.. .1 would like to thank Cartoon Network in general and Adult Swim for teaching me all the facts of life and for entertaining me since the 7th grade. It is a great feeling to look back on all that I have accomplished and know that it only took me five years to conquer High school. I know I would not have been able to do it without the help of mom dad & Steve. Will and all the rest of the fam. And many of my teachers, most of all Mrs Bhoning. Mr & Mrs Kolath and Chez. U guys have been great. And of coarse my friends: The Rev, Johny and merv, u guys have been like brothers to me and when I say brothers I mean in the way that black people say it because I think in some ways it is more meaningful, I wont ever forget the good times we had, stay in touch or I will take you all the way to the blood bank. Forbes, the dirty dirty, so many crazy nights in the room ri and messing with other kids, always tend to uncle petey! Of coarse the crazy spanyards, Carlos Sartorius, Jose San Roman, Sergio, vizco (celada), Blackwell, the Sauce Master, fun times last year. And of coarse my two favorite girls Becky and Hannah, You two are awesome, love u. Nate dog. Big & little nick, Colin Hobyack, Julian landau, Proctor, Sho Ichiro, Julian Golf and any other kids I might not have mentioned. I am out! J I
