ACADEMIC CALENDAR

The academic year consists of three terms (fall, winter, and spring). Students may choose from 120 yearlong and termlong courses. Our weekly schedule includes Community Service each Wednesday morning and classes on Saturday mornings and allows for athletic and after-school activities every afternoon. Supervised study halls are held each evening and include opportunities for students requiring extra help.

Marvelwood’s ESL Program helps international students gain fluency in all areas of language: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. ESL classes are student-centered, utilizing an approach that includes pair work, group work, and oral presentations.
