WHAT KEY CLUB EXPERIENCE
IS MY FAVORITE? MACKENZIE MILLER
The Mission Arlington PB+J event has been my favorite experience with Key Club so far. It was an incredible opportunity to not only make a tangible impact on the community but also connect with others who share the same passion for service. The event brought together a diverse group of people, each motivated by the same goal of helping those in need. As we made sandwiches, I found myself engaging in meaningful conversations with fellow volunteers, many of whom I hadn’t met before. It was refreshing to bond over a shared purpose while contributing to something bigger than ourselves. Knowing that the sandwiches we made would provide meals to those facing food insecurity added a sense of fulfillment to the experience. The combination of service and camaraderie made the event particularly special for me. It was a perfect reminder of how small actions, like making PB&J sandwiches, can have a lasting impact on a community while fostering new friendships.
WHAT KEY CLUB EXPERIENCE
HAS IMPACTED MY PERSPECTIVE THE MOST?
MORGAN
SMITH
The Key Club experience that has changed my perspective the most has to be working at Mission Arlington. Not only seeing the individuals struggling in that area of town but also the volunteers who are out helping every weekend has made a complete shift in how I look at the world. I’ve realized that everything we have is a true privilege and to never take anything for granted. Even solely helping sort donated supplies, the environment is truly eye opening to see the passion the volunteers have.
