President

MISS UNIVERSE

ORGANIZATION

’m honored to welcome you to the world’s grandest stage. Tonight, beyond the beauty and the glamour, each of these women’s lives will be forever changed as they enter a living legacy: a history and a tradition that recognize women’s values, their empowerment, and the beginning of a lifelong journey of impact. As we select the new Miss Universe, let us remember that she will not only embody strength and resilience for women everywhere, but also inspire little girls and young women, an icon they can look up to, a dignified spokesperson for their shared hopes and dreams.

Over the years, our values have evolved and our guiding principles have ushered us into a new era, one that places the deepest emphasis on the powerful, personal stories of every woman who takes this stage. Their true beauty and essence reside in their aspirations and motivations, in the richness of their cultures, in the kindness and empathy they extend to others, in their qualities as leaders, and, above all, in their ability to shine while helping others shine even brighter. This is the heart of the Miss Universe Organization: to elevate these qualities tonight and to safeguard them as an enduring legacy for generations to come.

At the center of this legacy is our unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment, expressed not as a slogan, but as an elegant and practical promise: to open doors, expand choices, and affirm every woman’s right to learn, to lead, and to thrive. Empowerment, to us, means dignity in every voice, opportunity in every story, and partnership in every step forward.

As a final reflection, let us remember that beauty begins within, and that each delegate’s journey of growth makes her unique, and worthy of a crown. Though only one will be named Miss Universe, all of you are queens in this sisterhood of women, where you shine as brightly as the stars.

Blessings to all of you and my warmest regards,

Saying farewell

IIchose to compete in Miss Universe because its mission, empowering women and amplifying our voices, mirrors my own. Today, as I say farewell, I do so with profound gratitude and clarity of purpose.

This journey has helped me grow as a human being and as a woman. Traveling the world and embracing diverse cultures opened my eyes and my heart. Working closely with social responsibility projects showed me the power of service in action. I witnessed how education, health, and opportunity transforms families and communities.

I learned that women are not only part of society, we are architects of its future. Our leadership moves economies, heals divisions, and drives real change. Everything I experienced reminded me that women must always be heard.

Carrying that truth forward, I hope more women will rise. When women speak, the world listens. True sisterhood, supporting other women and standing up for others, lifts us all and calls us to lead with kindness, resilience, and empathy.

To every woman: you are a beacon of light. Use your light to ignite another’s; when other women shine, the whole world brightens. That is the meaning of the Miss Universe crown I was honored to wear.

Titles end, but purpose does not. I leave with a full heart, a clearer voice, and a deeper commitment to serve.

To the next Miss Universe: I wish you every success; may the crown’s purpose reveal itself as your unforgettable journey begins.

With love and hope for a brighter future,

BBeing Miss Universe is a journey, one of personal growth, and one that carries you across countries, cultures, beliefs, and into the lives of people you might never have met otherwise. I arrived in places with a suitcase and a purpose, and I left with names, stories, and a deeper sense of who I am. Somewhere between flights from Colombia to Chile, photo shoots in the UAE and Vietnam, and gala nights in Mexico, the Philippines, and the United States, I learned that service isn’t a slogan on a stage—it’s a daily choice. The kind that puts others at the center: listening first, acting thoughtfully, and measuring impact by the hope you leave behind.

I visited 28 countries this year, across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean: I will not list countries, itineraries or agendas; that is not the story that matters. What matters is how each border crossed widened my heart, and how each welcome reminded me that beauty, in every place, is carried first by its people. For me, the world map became a classroom.

Travel also taught me that tourism, when done with respect, lets you immerse in a country’s soul and learn what geography and history alone cannot. Standing before the Taj Mahal in India, I felt how love can live in stone. Walking past Italy’s and Malta’s history-filled buildings, even the roads seemed to carry centuries underfoot. And in the Vatican, I found the possibility of peace, and, more than anything, the invitation to cultivate it.

This was a year of early flights and late-night events, but also a year of backstage and honest conversations. Of sitting in public schools in Martinique where teachers turned scarcity into invention. Of walking hospital corridors in Panama where doctors, children and families carried courage beyond measure. Of visiting community centers in the Dominican Republic where children on the autism spectrum found new ways to connect, where adults with disabilities in Bonaire were cared for with dignity, where orphans in Thailand discovered the safety of routine and the possibility of home. Of meeting cancer patients and their families in Curaçao and learning, again, that love measures time differently. In these spaces, the tone of my work was set not by speeches but by listening, really listening, until I could allow other people’s stories to change me. When we truly listen, we don’t just connect, we grow.

There were days when I met world leaders, like the President of Honduras, the Prime Minister of Japan, and other dignitaries who asked precise questions and offered generous commitments. I am grateful for those rooms. But I am equally grateful for the rooms with plastic chairs and paper cups, where volunteers stacked the last chair long after everyone had gone home. The crown took me to both, and it taught me to move between them with the same reverence. Policy can set the table; people teach you how to serve the meal. And between journeys, returning home to the love and warmth of my family in Denmark kept me grounded.

Not every moment sparkled. Some days were heavy, some plans unraveled, some projects needed more time than a visit could give. My greatest lesson was resilience. When you fall down, you learn, and you grow. When things are hard, you strive, and you grow even more. I stumbled. I doubted. I faced days that felt bigger than me. Each time, I chose to stand back up. That choice, to keep going with purpose, became my guiding light.

I carried that guiding light, that compass, into work that stretched beyond human rooms toward animal protection and the environment. The same respect we owe to each other we also owe to the world we share. Planting trees in Indonesia, the Netherlands, and Puerto Rico. Restoring mangrove shorelines in Aruba. Witnessing how Ecuador’s Galápagos Islands’ habitats are cared for and protected. Releasing turtles back into the sea in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Supporting humane education and care. None of this work is separate from empowerment; it’s all part of a single promise to leave places, and possibilities, better than we found them.

There is one memory I will always keep in my pocket. In Guatemala, after a long morning at a community clinic and a public school, a little girl and her mother came to say hello from afar. I saw the mother crying and, without understanding why, I opened the car door and ran towards her. I hugged both of them tightly. Knowing she couldn’t understand me, I looked her in the eyes, held her hands, and we cried together. At some point, words weren’t needed. We hugged. We cried. The schedule dissolved. For a moment there were no cameras and no crown—just three people telling the truth and holding it together.

Sisterhood threaded through this year like a constant melody. In Costa Rica, I watched women make room for other women. In every country I went to I saw women share experiences, provide comfort, babysit each other’s kids in hallways and waiting rooms, and whisper “You’ve got this” at the exact right second. I saw women who volunteer, who work, who lead, often all three; build schools and small businesses, hold communities together, and move families forward. They taught me that leadership can be both strong and gentle, decisive and compassionate, and that progress is fastest when we lift together.

People often ask what the Miss Universe crown “means.” For me, it isn’t just a crown to be worn; it’s a promise to keep. A promise to lead with humility, to serve with integrity, and to turn visibility into action. It represents sisterhood, responsibility, and the belief that purpose makes beauty powerful. Some nights, after the last applause had faded, I would set the crown back into its case and think: tomorrow, we begin again. Tomorrow, we show up where it counts.

If there is a message I want to hand to every little girl and every young woman who has followed this journey, it is this: be a beacon of light. In your classroom, your home, your workplace, shine with kindness, courage, and conviction. Your light does not require permission. It does not wait for perfect circumstances. It shows the way. The world is not waiting for you to become perfect; it is waiting for you to become present.

And so I end where I began: with gratitude. For my family, whose love I held close; for the people across the world who opened their homes and hearts; for fans whose encouragement arrived precisely when I needed it; for the Miss Universe Organization, for trust and the biggest platform in the world; for my team, my travel family, who shared with me laughter and even tears between flights and car rides; and for God, who blessed me with strength, protection, and purpose.

Titles end, but purpose does not. This year didn’t just give me a map; it gave me a mission. I will keep listening before speaking. I will keep building programs that center the people they serve. I will keep measuring impact by the hope you leave behind. And I will keep walking toward the kind of world we imagined together this year, one where dignity is non-negotiable, opportunity is shared, and every woman is seen, valued, and free to lead.

victoria year-round experience 2025

With the rare privilege of representing all women across the globe while traveling the World, Victoria journeyed through dozens of countries, touching countless lives while profoundly enriching her own. Her reign granted her experiences and perspectives that only Miss Universe can offer. Along the way, she became a guiding light, an inspiration to women everywhere to pursue their dreams, and, perhaps, why not, the Crown itself.
