Resources

As fellow military, veterans and dependents, we want to be the go-to place for your needs. We are here to engage all military-connected students through transitional support, educational benefits and programs to promote learning, engagement and success. Our Veterans Lounge offers all military-connected students free printing, study space, computers and more.

The Veterans Upward Bound Program offers individualized assistance with FAFSA, admission paperwork and registration. Our Student Veterans Association is a student

organization that helps transition to civilian and college life, offering a network of vets who help one another on and off campus. Other resources include:

The online M.A. in Leadership Studies is a 30 hour, all online graduate degree program designed for service members. Students are allowed to transfer in up to 12 credit hours. Military schools such as Command and Staff (all branches) and the Expeditionary Warfare College (USMC) can be used to fill these credits. Students transferring in 12 credits will need to complete 6 online classes to graduate with their Master’s of Leadership Studies.

Program Highlights

• Ten classes (all online) and officers can credit up to 4 classes.

• Component Courses include Human Relations in the Public Sector, Leadership in the Public Sector, Human Resources Management, Fundraising Management, Community Collaborative Planning & Management,

Grant Proposal Writing, Externship and Leadership Capstone.

• Elective courses are selected by the student in cooperation with his/her advisor to enhance career-specific skills.
