Undecided Students
This major gives you the opportunity to work with an advisor to complete general education requirements while exploring majors matching their interests and abilities.
Pre-Nursing Students
Work with an academic counselor to complete general education requirements and course requirements for application to the associate or bachelor’s nursing programs.

Conditionally Admitted Students
As a conditionally admitted student, you are granted an opportunity to obtain a college degree. As long as you have specific requirements met within the first three semesters. These requirements include: completion of UNI 100 Freshman First Class, a graded course taught by the student’s academic counselor, successful completion of any required developmental English, completion of 18 graded hours with a 2.00 GPA or 15 graded hours with a 3.00 or better GPA during the first semester as a conditionally admitted student.
High School, special admit, and transient students
Special admits are not assigned specific advisors; however, they are welcome to schedule appointments or seek walk-in assistance for registering for courses and other advising support.

Our highly experienced and trained staff partner with students in a guidance/coaching approach. They can help students with everything from interview readiness to resume building and job search skills. They can also help students who are trying to determine an academic major.
