A Catholic Benedictine College Prep High School for Young Men and Women

The Tradition Expands.
Marmion Academy has been educating young people for nearly 100 years. In 2026, Marmion expands to offer students a one-of-a-kind educational journey that combines the best of both worlds. You can expect primarily, a single-gender learning environment freshmen and sophomore year, while still engaging with a broader co-ed student body through campus life and extracurriculars.
Juniors and seniors will come together in a dynamic, integrated classroom setting that prepares them for the world ahead—academically, as leaders, and spiritually.
Rooted in Catholic and Benedictine values, enriched by unmatched leadership and faith formation programs, and driven by a mission to build men and women of character. Marmion is more committed than ever to shape young people who are ready to lead with purpose and integrity.
The Mission Remains.
Marmion Academy, a Catholic-Benedictine college preparatory school for young men and women, is a community dedicated to spiritual formation, academic excellence, and leadership development.

Spirituality
Built on a Foundation of Faith

With guidance from the Benedictine monks of Marmion Abbey—who teach, serve, and walk alongside you—you will learn to lead with compassion, live with integrity, and recognize your own spiritual identity.
As part of our Catholic tradition, we welcome a community of all backgrounds and religious beliefs. Through daily prayer, quiet reflection, retreat opportunities or acts of service in the community, you will discover how faith shapes not just what you believe, but how you live and grow.
The Saint Benedict Brotherhood and Saint Scholastica Sisterhood at Marmion Academy will be designed as complementary expressions of the same Benedictine mission creating a unified Marmion community rooted in prayer, service, leadership, and love of God.

Marmion has helped me realize that your faith isn’t just within prayer and mass, but it can be around us each day. I have learned how to live out my faith every day by checking in on people, smiling at others, caring about them, volunteering, and praying for them. Marmion has helped me see my faith much more in my life and how I can live it out.

Marmion Academy’s Hybrid Co-Education Advantage
We believe young men and women learn best in an environment that blends the focus of single-gender learning with the richness of a united school community.
In our hybrid model, freshman and sophomore students experience core classes in single-gender classrooms, allowing them to build confidence, minimize distractions, and develop strong academic foundations.
Students then come together as one Marmion community for leadership classes, AP and dual credit courses, extracurricular activities, Mass, specialized electives, lunch and assemblies, and more—fostering collaboration, mutual respect, and shared traditions.
This intentional balance offers students the best of both worlds during their formative years, combining the focused benefits of single-gender learning with the collaborative energy of co-education in their upper-class years, preparing Cadets to thrive in college, career, and life.
Traditional Class Schedule at Marmion

At Marmion Academy, we believe learning is most effective when students engage with each subject every day. A traditional schedule allows for consistent practice, stronger retention, and more frequent feedback from teachers—especially important in sequential subjects like math, science, and world languages. It also helps students develop steady study habits and makes it easier to recover from absences without falling behind. By keeping this daily rhythm, we prepare our students for the pace, discipline, and expectations they’ll face in college and beyond.
StEM Power Your Future with STEM
STEM programs at Marmion Academy combine hands-on learning with real-world application, giving students the chance to design, build, and innovate using professional-grade tools, and technology. From engineering and robotics to coding and research, our students tackle projects that develop problem-solving, creativity, and technical skills.
Our award-winning programs, including the Computational Prototyping and Research Center (CPARC), connect students directly with industry partners, preparing them for college, careers, and leadership roles in tomorrow’s technology-driven world.

CPARC has been the most beneficial program I have had the opportunity to involve myself in.
Right out of high school I was able to land my dream job at General Motors thanks to my hands on experience and the world class training.
