Preparation For Launch Of Pti Room

During Art lessons with Ms Angelique Degabriele Attard, students prepared resources for the PTI Room Launch. They prepared gift tags to be given with tokens presented on the day. They also worked on artefacts to be used as trays and coasters during the event. The year 7 groups also worked on paper crafts with Ms Sabrina Bezzina and Ms Daniela Bilocca. Students in 8 Georgia have been busy preparing cupcakes for tomorrow’s PTI room launch under the guidance of Ms Anastasja Baldacchino. They started by preparing a list of ingredients needed. Together with their teacher and LSEs, last week they went to the store to purchase the items required so that they were fully prepared to bake today.

STUDENTS’ COUNCIL 2022 -2023

Students had the opportunity to participate in a democratic election to elect the members of the Students’ Council for 2022-2023. Our students had a glimpse of how an election is carried out. The voting process took place in the hall which looked like an election room. Photos of candidates were exhibited and after privately voting for their preferred candidates, studentshadtoinserttheirfoldedvoteinasealedboxat thecentreoftheroom.

On Monday 13th March, student members of the Students’ Council together with the educators in charge, had the opportunity to spend few hours at RMJ’s Horse Rescue in Siggiewi. They learned about the hard work carried out at RMJ. They had the opportunity to help with some voluntary work under the guidance of one of the volunteers. This day helped them gather insight and experience first hand the hard work and dedication required to work with the rescued horses. Getting to know the stories behind some of the horses’ tough life before they were rescued was heartbreaking.
