In this project, I utilized my skills with Adobe Photoshop to create a digital collage with my own photographs.

I titled my digital collage “Things Are Looking Up” because I wanted the theme to be optimistic and light, like a positive manifestation of good things to come. I used the Select and Mask tool to select and refine each individual object, and added Adjustment Layers so the colors and lighting blend together between the different Layer Masks. I employed the Timeline Tool and Transformations to animate certain elements of my collage to further emphasize the aesthetic of growth and abundance.

For these slightly unconventional memes, I wanted them to come

across as soft, sweet, and slightly inspirational. Using photos and phrases from my life allowed me to take this project to a more personal and expressive level. I used Select and Mask for all of the memes so I could add Adjustment Layers to make the main subject stand out. I added a different background for several of them to add to the dreamy and sunshiney feel. I used the Apple Emoji Font within Adobe Photoshop to create the glowing crowns. To enhance the typographical elements and ensure legibility, I added Outer Glow to the text, and I utlized the Smudge Tool to blur the background image behind the text as well.

For my playlist cover, The Smell of Tomatoes in the Summertime, I used Select and Mask and Copy and Paste for each individual piece of silverware. I utilized the AI features in Photoshop with the Remove Element Tool to clean up the table and make more room for typography. The album cover was based on a nonexistent album in which I cut out individual letters from a photograph of a colored pencil drawing of mine. “No Sun Sin Tí” is a Spanglish title because I enjoy multilingual lyrics in music, and I am pursing a minor in Spanish. The podcast cover is a redesign for a podcast that already exists called “Art Slice”, that I wanted to add new life to. I used the Select and Mask tool to create a collage-like design. In Adobe Illustrator, I used the Bevel and Emboss text effects to create a Margeaux Miller logo that is embedded in the design.

To create this series of advertisements, I used Adobe

Photoshop to edit and merge my images and Adobe Illustrator for typography for a Yamaha wave runner. The theme is simple and natural to emphasis that using a jet ski allows you to have a personal, hands-on experience with the nature around you. I created a Layer Mask of the jet ski and used the layer adjustments so the two different pictures had the same lighting and fit well together. I duplicated the Layer Mask and lowered the opacity in Multiply Blend Mode to create the reflection-like shadow of the wave runner on the water.

For this hypothetical fashion store’s online website, I took highresolution photos of clothing and accessory items in my closet. In Adobe Photoshop, I selected and masked, and applied the Split Tone Photo Filter with additional Layer Mask adjustments to increase the contrast, warm the colors up, and give them a 70’s style. To add dimention and texture, I used a photo of flowers as the background and added Stroke Outlines around the images to help them stand out. I used the Linear Blend Mode on the product shapes so the flowers were still visible, but the text was legible and clear. I added drop shadows, as well as other typographic elements, in Adobe Illustrator to the title typography so it would stand out.

To show my consistent design capabilities, I created a branding slideshow for

Charlie St. Flowers and Coffee, a flower shop and cafe in Fort Lauderdale. I wanted the photos to highlight the aesthetic and trendy elements within the shop like the neon signs and artworks. I added some animated elements and movement within Adobe Express to keep the attention of the viewers and to emphasize the food, flowers, and other important things. The slideshow is also meant to be a sort of journey through the space: starting with the building exterior and moving back towards the flower workspace. The purpose of this branding is to market the shop through social media, a commercial, or a website feature.

ispy calendar For this 2024 calendar design, I set up and took high-resolution photos of 12 separate still-lives. In order to maintain a specific theme or aesthetic, I hand selected each item from my collection of trinkets, art, and ephemera. In Adobe Photoshop, I brightened certain areas with the Dodge Tool, and darkened other areas with the Burn Tool to make all the elements stand out and be visible and appealing. I used Adobe InDesign for the layout. My parent page had the basic table layout for each month and the text boxes to make sure all the elements stayed in the same place for each month.

my understanding of purpose and audience when designing a project. I designed a coffee table book meant for display, Baking 101, and a tabloid-sized magazine, Movimiento, about dance. For the baking book, the theme is based on something you would find in your grandma’s kitchen: a classic, traditional baking recipe book that feels homey, warm, and comforting. I utilized Select and Mask and Adjustment Layers in Adobe Photoshop, and added the typographic and graphic elements in Illustrator. For the tabloid, I used Layer Masks with chalk-like strokes and different Blending Modes to emphasize the sense of movement and fluidity.

These are designs for a promotional campaign for

an art exhibition that delves into fashion throughout the ages, and the standards women are continuously held to. After taking high-quality images, I edited my photos with Adjustment Layers and Layer Masks and arranged them on the background image in Adobe Photoshop. In Illustrator, I chose typefaces that worked well together and fit the classical, art museum aesthetic. I added shapes and graphics to the typography to create a logo for the exhibition. I used layers, adjustments, and adjusted the opacity to enhance layering of the subjects and boxes. Each advertisement size varies slightly to avoid excessive repetition, but maintain recognizable branding consistency.

Scanned images seamlessly meld with the unfiltered authenticity of her personal artist journal, unveiling a

profound exploration of transformation, self-discovery, and the intricate beauty found within life’s chaos. Through this combining of collage, tchotchkes, and journal entries, I express my complex feelings into tangible expressions, creating a dialogue about the intricacies of the human experience. In Adobe Photoshop I combined several different high resolution scans into two artboards. There, I utilized the Burn Tool, Dodge Tool, Sharpening Tool, Blur Tool, and Sponge Tool. I also used the Smudge Tool heavily in order to merge the scans and replicate the appearance of the scanner. In Illustrator, I added the typography with the type on a path tool.
