Homework

Forest

We expect children in Rowan class to read at home at least 4 times a week but ideally every day. Please tick and sign your child’s bookmark every time you read with them at home. Mrs Kinna will also be uploading a phonics task onto the class story on ClassDojo each week.

We will be visiting our Forest area every other Thursday afternoon. We will provide you with dates each half term and put reminders onto ClassDojo. Please ensure your child arrives at school wearing suitable clothing on those dates. Trousers, a long sleeved top, extra layers (such as a fleece), a waterproof coat (an all-in-one is ideal) and a hat and gloves in the cold weather. They should wear shoes to school and bring their welly boots in a named bag.

Children in Rowan and Sapling classes will have mini topic projects to complete each week. Mrs Bogle and Mrs Heilbronn will be uploading these onto the class story on ClassDojo every Friday and we expect the completed project to be in your child’s portfolio on ClassDojo by the following Friday.

PE We will provide you with dates for PE each half term and put reminders onto ClassDojo. Please ensure that your child arrives at school wearing their PE kit on those dates.
