KATE MOSS TURNS T TEETOTAL Original party girl Ka Kate Moss has given up the drink for good and turned teetotal on us. Supermodel Moss, te 44, has spent almost three th decades of living it up on the celeb circuit and is famed fam for falling out of bars drunk and in 2005 (during h her Pete Doherty days) sniffing rather a few lines of co coke, which led to the loss of brand campaigns with Burbe Burberry, Chanel and H&M. Now the supermodels little sister Lottie, 20, has supermod spilled the beans on her new lifestyle where falling off the wagon actually involves a rural trip to her actu Cotswold’s Farm. "Kate is not drinking any more, she is fully clean. drin She’s settled down dow and is really happy with her new guy - Count Cou Nikolai von Bismarc," she added. Kate's sobriety sobriet will no doubt be appreciated

by Nicoli, who has previously spent time in rehab over his own partying. Another source previously said, "Kate really loves him and wants to help him. She has quit before, but is really serious about it this time. It's obviously having a good effect as both she and Nikolai look great. It's a really good sign for their relationship." It was also revealed that Moss has overhauled her lifestyle in a bid to preserve her beauty. In recent years, Moss has been subject to a string of unflattering pictures which have revealed the damage her unhealthy habits - sunbathing, smoking and drinking - have had on her face. From lines across her forehead to deep crows feet around her eyes. She has ditched the alcohol in favour of a green juice each morning and relies on supplement Lumity, branded the 'beauty industry's secret'.

VICTORIA GLUM The question of everyone’s lips at the royal wedding was, what is wrong with Posh Spice’s face. Victoria Beckham looked absolutely miserable and if resting bitch face had an Olympic games Posh would have pulled the Gold. Pictures of her less than impressed expressions have gone viral and she has once again been publicly criticized. This is nothing new as Posh was thrown shade at Kate and Will’s wedding for the same reason, however this time we do not have Pippa's bum to distract us and Posh is making all the headlines. Posh hit back at the headlines saying she wasn’t miserable she was just generally happy that this time she was not heavily pregnant.

DIRTY GRANDPA Morgan Freeman’s lothario ways have landed him in seriously hot water this month. The still sexually active 80-year-old ‘Shawshank’ star has been accused of sexual misconduct by 8 separate women, mainly referring to his “ass-tapping” or “comments about their cleavage in tight tops” in a report dating back the last 10 years. This is not a Weinstein case however and was followed up by a CNN reporter and not the police. One women claimed the actor asked “if she was wearing underwear” on the set of a film in 2015 while attempting to lift up her skirt. Oo-er Morgan. The Oscar winning grandad has already come forward and issued a statement apologising to anyone who felt uncomfortable by his behaviour and has said that was “never my intent.” It is unclear whether these eight women, who have all worked with Freeman on various films, will sue for sexual harassment or just let the actor and the world now his overly flirtatious ways have been clocked and firmly disapproved of. “It was an open secret in Hollywood,” one claimed. Not anymore, Red has been caught red-handed.

RECIPE THAI GREEN CHICKEN CURRY This deliciously fragrant Thai Green Curry from Jamie Oliver is packed full of flavour and great for al fresco dining on hot summer nights. To save time you can always double or even triple up the ingredients for the paste and fridge or freeze for other occasions.

 5cm piece of ginger  2 lemongrass stalks  4 green Bird's eye chillies  1 teaspoon ground cumin  ½ a bunch of fresh coriander  2 tablespoons fish sauce

METHOD

INGREDIENTS (Serves 6)

 750 g skinless free-range chicken thighs  Groundnut oil  400 g mixed oriental mushrooms  1 x 400g tin of light coconut milk  1 organic chicken stock cube  6 kaffir lime leaves  200 g mangetout  ½ a bunch fresh Thai basil  2 limes (For the Curry Paste)  4 cloves of garlic  2 shallots

1. To make the curry paste, peel, roughly chop and place the garlic, shallots and ginger into a food processor. 2. Trim the lemongrass, remove the tough outer leaves, then finely chop and add to the processor. Trim and add the chillies along with the cumin and half the coriander (stalks and all). Blitz until finely chopped, add the fish sauce and blitz again. 3. Slice the chicken into 2.5cm strips. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan on a medium heat, add the chicken and fry for 5 to 7 minutes, or until just turning golden, then transfer to a plate. 4. Tear the mushrooms into even pieces. Return the pan to a medium heat, add the mushrooms and fry for 4 to 5 minutes, or until golden. Transfer to a plate using a slotted spoon. 5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the Thai green paste for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 6. Pour in the coconut milk and 400ml of boiling water, crumble in the stock cube and add the lime leaves. Turn the heat up and bring gently to the boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, or until reduced slightly. 7. Stir in the chicken and mushrooms, reduce the heat to low and cook for a further 5 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through, adding the mangetout for the final 2 minutes. 8. Season carefully to taste with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Pick, roughly chop and stir through the basil leaves and remaining coriander leaves. Serve with lime wedges and steamed rice.

WINE MATCH As a rule, white wines tend to work better than red wines when it comes to pairing with spicy food like Thai, as they have a bit of residual sugar which works to both combat and cool a spicy palate. Our number one choice to accompany this Thai Green Chicken Curry would be a dry Sauvignon from New Zealand or if you want to be experimental you could pick an off-dry Kabinett Riesling from Germany which has a drop of lime freshness, with delicate, high-toned flavours to match the bright herbs and green chillies.

JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM

MINISTRY OF SOUND MARBELLA COLLECTION 2018

A LONG WAY FROM HOME

It’s been three years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles. When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times. With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with one of the most popular and successful series in cinema history, this all-new motionpicture event sees the return of favourite characters and dinosaurs—along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is one for the whole family to enjoy.

DJ Colin Francis is back with this belter of an album which is sure to hit the number one chart position for the ninth year in a row. What started out as a somewhat gentle foray into the house music scene is now one of the biggest albums in clubland, regularly beating the most anticipated of summer releases. This year on Marbella Collection 2018 you can listen to the likes of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Duke Dumont, Disciples, Lethal Bizzle, Chris Brown and The Martinez Brothers. There are 60 tracks in all so don’t worry about your up tempo house party going quiet anytime soon. Special tracks worth a mention are a revised ‘Push the Feeling On’ remix featuring John Nastie and The Nightcrawlers. Plus a great version of ‘Love Shy’ from and an exclusive track from DJ Colin Francis and DJ IDJ called ‘Your Body’. Be sure to check DJ Colin Francis out this Summer at all your favourite Marbella venues including his weekly residency at Mirage on Friday nights and monthly at Tibu on Thursday night alongside Lovejuice.

In his new novel, Carey returns to the remote country towns of his childhood and unrelenting expanses of land in-between to address this fraught history head-on. Until now, the double Booker prize-winning Peter Carey has, in his own words, "avoided a direct confrontation with race, and the question of what it might mean to be a white Australian." In his new novel, Carey returns to the remote country towns of his childhood and unrelenting expanses of land in between to address this fraught history head-on. When husband and wife, Titch and Irene Bobs, enter a life changing 10,000-mile 17-day car race around the country as a publicity stunt for Titch’s used car business, they enlist the help of their neighbour and their expert navigator Willie Bachhuber. What Willie uncovers about his heritage along the way morphs their bonds and brings to light the shameful treatment of Australia’s indigenous people. A breathtaking book that really unearths what life was like in Australia and what that means nowadays. The book explores themes of race and breaking down barriers – whilst providing an enticing and utterly engaging read.

ngland will play in Group G and will kick off their campaign on June 18th against Tunisia in the Volgograd Arena, a 45,000 capacity stadium in Volgograd, situated on the Western bank of the Volga River after which the city is named. Tunisia, known for good dates and figs and one of their players, Khazri, has said ‘Tunisia can go far in Russia.’ Tunisia put up a fair show in 1978 (Dhiab and co) managing to beat Mexico 3-1 and holding the 1974 Champions West Germany to a 0-0 draw and were ultimately beaten 2-0 by England in the opening group match of the 1998 World Cup. Let’s hope we do it again. England are next up entertaining Panama in the Nitzhy Novgorod stadium (45,000 capacity) on 24th June. Don’t know anything about Panama apart from they make cigars and hats and are the complete underdogs of the tournament! It is their first time at the World Cup, they beat Costa Rica 2-1 in the final qualifying group match and they are rank outsiders at 1000/1. Not the best odds! If we don’t beat this team we should hang our heads in shame. West to Nizhny is the Kaliningrad Stadium (35,000

capacity) and it is here where England will meet Belgium on 28th June. The group’s biggest match in the smallest stadium makes no sense to me but anyway. No English referees are going to this World Cup – but there is an Ethiopian ref who referees in a semi-professional league. Obviously Belgium are the strongest opposition and Kevin de Bryne will be dangerous, he has been instrumental in Manchester City’s success this season, scoring and assisting goals. Also look out for the pace of Lukaku and the skill of Eden Hazard. Belgium were eliminated at the quarter final stage last time after a tight match with Argentina. Jan Ceulemans ‘winner’ for Belgium in a 4-3 win over Russia in the 1986 second round match was a mile offside but Jean Marie Pfaff was the best goalkeeper in the tournament and they went on to take fourth place. I clearly remember Bernd Schuster on a set of 1986 World Cup stickers, not the Panini one’s though – yet he played no part in the tournament whatsoever. Despite for years being one of West Germany’s most creative players, Schuster’s 21st and final cap came in 1984 and he never played in a World Cup.

WORLD CUP 2018

THE DANGER TEAMS, THE DANGER MEN Argentina’s Lionel Messi is the obvious choice, along with Neymar (Brazil) and Ronaldo (Portugal). Then comes Harry Kane (England), Antoine Griezmann (France) the 2016 Euro Championship top scorer with 6 goals, Germany’s Timo Werner plus Brazil’s Gabriel Jesus. Belgium’s Kevin De Bryne has already been mentioned and James Rodrigues whose round 1 flick up and volley against Uruguay was one of the goals of the last tournament has been in good club form at Bayern Munich and will be there again for Columbia. Edison Flores scored 5 goals in qualifying for Peru and looks to be their threat up front. Could Flores be Teofillo Cubillas again? Cubillas’s free-kick with the outside of the right peg over the Scotland wall past a bemused Rough was one of the goals of the 1978 series. Egypt’s Mohammed Salah is another dark horse ‘if he keeps performing like he has for Liverpool he could carry them through the first round,’ said George Barrows. Egypt and Denmark could be dark horses, goalkeeper Kaspar Schmeichel and Eriksen could have big tournaments. Poland still have Lewandowski up front and Grosicki down the wing. There are two main contenders for the golden boot: Griezmann or Werner then maybe Neymar and Kane. Germany and Brazil for me have to be favourites to lift the World Cup. Spain have got good players (Morata) but they have not looked outstanding like the other 2 countries have. France are attacking and skilful and must also be a threat. Look out for Alexandre Lacazette, the Arsenal forward, who will no doubt shine in this year’s tournament.

WORLD CUP 2018 FASHION

SO WHAT OF ENGLAND’S CHANCES THEN? England have a chance if they perform well, Manager Gareth Southgate has to get the squad and tactics right. The bookmakers make England the 7th favourites. If you are picking strikers on form at the minute, it will be Kane, Vardy, Rashford, Welbeck plus possibly another then there is Sturridge, the recently recalled Defoe, plus the new breeds such as Swansea’s Tammy Abraham so there is no shortage. Peter Crouch (42 caps, 22 goals) could also (but probably won’t be) an option. There is only really Kane, Vardy and Welbeck who have been scoring regularly for England so they also need someone who can come off the bench and get them a goal, win them a match or get them out of trouble (like when they were 1-2 down with Iceland in the 2016 Euros.) Although pundits may differ in opinion, I think the inclusion of Andy Carroll would give them still more aerial threat and offer them something different. Vardy, Kane and Carroll up front all together would be a ‘mare’ for most defences, Carroll could win crosses at the far post and poor old Panama and Tunisia would not know what had hit them, even the top defences would struggle. After all, Carroll is supposed to be one of the best three headers of a

ball in Europe. Out of the international set-up since 2012, could he add to his tally of 2 goals in 9 international appearances in the 2018 World Cup in Russia? England’s defenders will have to mark a lot tighter than they did last time and not leave big gaps at the back like they did against Uruguay when Suarez exposed them. In the group match against Belgium, which will be the toughest, the England defenders will have to have their wits about them. However they have defenders who are physical and could do man-marking jobs against Belgium and other teams later in the tournament. The defenders I identify that can do this are Eric Dier, Phil Jones, Harry Maguire, Ryan Bertrand and James Tarkowski if selected. They all get stuck in and can mix when they have to. Italy’s Claudio Gentile man marked Zico and particularly Diego Maradona out of matches during Italy’s run to the 1982 World Cup and Nobby Stiles’s shadow and stifle of Eusebio was instrumental in England’s 1966 success as was Alan Balls man-mark of Karl Heinz Schnellinger in the final.

WHERE TO WATCH? There are many good bars and sports bars in Marbella. However Marbella Rocks recommends Lineker’s and Portside in Puerto Banus, GK in San Pedro, The Hairy Lemon in Sotogrande, The Robin Hood in Estepona and The View Bar in Centro Plaza is always worthy of a visit.

JAMIROQUAI

THE MAD HATTER OF FUNK

J

azz funk band Jamiroquai, with charismatic frontman Jay Kay at the helm, are performing at the Starlite Festival on July 22nd. It marks the first time the group, formed back in 1992, have visited the Costa Del Sol and they have a new album to boot.

MUSIC CAREER

After a 7 year hiutus, Automaton Jamiroquai’s 8th studio album through Sony Records launched to critical acclaim in March. The band called it a reflection on what's most important to them: love, peace, the planet and each other. Jay Kay is immensely proud of his latest work calling it, A complete album. A proper, finished album. The rule was, all killer and no filler! “We knew we had to get it right with this one. And if you don't make an album that's cohesive, that you dig, where the rhythms and melodies are right, that just feels good and feels cool, then you know, what's the point of doing it? It's as simple as that," he added. The group have come a long way in the last 25 years since their smash hit album ‘Emergency On Planet Earth’ stormed the charts in 1993. Critics and fans were in awe of them and their unique blend of jazz, funk and acid. They have also mastered the disco and soul genres over the many years they have been performing. Their 1996 album ‘Travelling Without Moving’ the most popular album so far, had entered the Guinness World Records as the best-selling funk album in history and contained the track ‘Virtual Insanity’. To date Jamiroquai has sold more than 26 million albums worldwide. Jay Kay also won a prestigious BMI Presidents Award, "in recognition of his profound influence on songwriting within the music industry" and with the band, also won an Ivor Novello Award for "an Outstanding Song Collection", as well as 13 Brit Award nominations during the course of their career.

shortly after their first album and there have been 4 significant others. Being the frontman, Jay Kay is occasionally referred to as the group name, because he is the only person under contract with Sony Music as the artist name of Jamiroquai. (A reason why band numbers have regularly come in and then out!) It was widely claimed that the group's formation was a result of Kay's failed audition to become a singer of the Brand New Heavies, although this is a rumour he consistently denies.

JAY KAY

Jay Kay (real name Jason Kay) has had a relatively tough upbringing by all standards. His identical twin brother David died a few weeks after he was born which has always affected the singer. His parents were both adopted and his mother (singer Karen Kay) had to raise him on his own after separating from his father. Jay Kay didn’t actually get to meet his Portuguese birth father Luis Saraiva until 2001. Jay Kay has always basked in the media spotlight since he rose to fame aged 22 and has had several high profile relationships which generated the star extra column inches namely with Hollywood actress Winona Ryder, supermodel Heidi Klum and Australian singer Kylie Minogue. He also dated the vivacious ‘Big Breakfast’ TV presenter Denise Van Outen for 4 years from 1998. Jay Kay is now happily married and has two daughters Carla and Tallulah and with long term partner Maria, whom he met in 2007 aged 45. “I’ve always wanted a family, but I’d reached 45 and wondered if it would ever happen. I’m a touch late, but it’s brilliant!” This, he claims, is the reason for the band’s recent 8 year break. “I am totally serious about my missus and kids,” he said. “My biological dad and my mum were adopted, my identical twin died and my parents split. There’s a whole history of insecurity there. And so this is it. I am the Dad for my girls. Forever. I don’t want them calling any other man ‘Daddy.’ They’ve got me for life.”

“The rule is: all killer and no filler!”

THE BAND

Jamiroquai has swapped band members numerous times. Jay Kay has always led the band alongside co-songwriter and keyboardist Toby Smith, who sadly passed away from cancer in 2017. Talented didgeridoo player Wallis Buchanan still plays for the group while drummer Nick van Gelder, left

SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE FASHION LADIES DAY ASCOT PARTY June 21st Head over to The Boardwalk on Paseo Maritimo to enjoy a bit of glitz and glamour at the races while helping a very good cause. This year, the 4th year in a row, organisers Kara Caradas and Sera Jane (pictured) have decided to raise funds for Samantha Dorricott in South Wales who tragically lost three daughters in devastating circumstances; an involuntary drug overdose, complications during birth and a house fire – this is before any of them had reached their 22nd birthday. The day, sponsored by Pure Skin Boutique Spa and Angela McAllister with Evento Shop and Brian Mcculen events donating the decorations, will consist of a fashion show from Fabric and singers Tabitha and Isabelle have kindly donated their time to perform. NIGHT OF SAN JUAN June 23rd San Juan is one of the biggest events in Spain’s calendar. Every major town or city holds its own fiesta to celebrate the shortest day of the year, June 23rd that also officially symbolises the start of summer. The festivities usually get under way a few days before where a massive bonfire is collected on the beach and giant effigies are made by locals to be burnt on San Juan night. On the 23rd June the whole town comes to life as families and friends gather to eat, drink, dance and enjoy the party atmosphere. It is also a custom to eat grilled sardines on the beach. The roaring bonfires which usually start around 11pm are then followed by an impressive firework display that lights up the whole coast, a spectacle in itself if you have a good view of the coastline from wherever you are planning to see in the festivities. At midnight thousands of revellers dip or even swim in the sea not only because they’ve had a few bevvies but because San Juan has religious and pagan connotations and the water supposedly cleanses them. Enjoy your fun filled night of San Juan at numerous beach locations up and down the coast. Tickets: None www.andalucia.com

Former professional bodybuilder, and 6-time consecutive Mr Olympia Dorian Yates showed his softer side by raising awareness for non-profit animal shelter Triple A Marbella. With what started as having very humble beginnings of home fostering back in 1992; The Triple A today is now a temporary refuge for approximately 550 animals, with the majority being abandoned or abused dogs. The dedicated workers and volunteers are on a mission to offer the animals a second chance at a better life. A no-kill policy ensures each animal stays in the centre with appropriate care until they are found a fulltime home. Thousands of animals lives have been saved over the past 25 years, but despite the dedicated work of the Triple A more animals are being rescued than being re-homed. Dorian explained how he became aware of the issue via friends at the M13 gym, then took to social media putting his 624,000 Instagram following to good use; he invited the public to come and join him on 22/04/18 for the dogs weekly walk. Dorian praised the fantastic job the workers and volunteers are carrying out but made the bottom line clear, "that they just need more help". There was a fantastic turnout from 10am, a far cry from the usual numbers that tend to consist of regular Triple A members. Steve Wiley is one of those committed few and explained how on days of bad weather the dog walking often takes them from 10am until 6pm at night making sure every last dog gets a walk.

The Triple-A receives no central or regional government funding in Spain surviving mainly from membership fees, donations and charity events. The Marbella Town council, however, does financially help by giving a yearly donation of €30,000. As an onlooker, this may sound like a lot of money, but this donation, in reality, doesn't touch the sides. The monthly maintenance fees for the shelter exceed a staggering €30,000. When you adopt an animal from the shelter they are fully vaccinated, microchipped, sterilised, de-wormed and set up with their doggy passports ready for their onward travels. There is a small donation of €150 when adopting, but considering the standard prices for sterilisation are from 200-300 € per animal it's a small price to pay. Before adoption, you can even view a virtual video online and are given extensive information about the animal from his or her's history to character traits. But this isn't the only way that you can help, both Jan and Dorian want to stress that no matter your current circumstance everyone can play their part.

Jan Weimer secretary and longest standing member of the Triple A has dedicated much of his life to the animals and explained how some of the dogs "have been through hell.” Nevertheless many manage to seek loving homes in Spain and worldwide including family's in Germany, Holland, Sweden and even the US. Jan emphasised the particular support from these countries and particularly valued Sweden's outlook for animal care and consciousness.

FEATURES WAYS THAT YOU CAN HELP:  Become a Triple A member, and help with finding new members.  Make donations: financially and by donating food, blankets and toys.  Accompanying an animal on a flight on route to their new home  Spread the word to friends & family  Attend our charity events  Become a volunteer  Walk the dogs on Saturdays  Virtual/online adoption  Remember them in your Will

The desire for fashionable breeds, designer dogs and the lack of castration are contributing factors to the abandonment problem which Triple A and many other organisations face, but I'm sure all those involved resonate with the line that states "the best breeds are the ones in need". Speaking on a personal level as someone who owns an adopted dog from the Triple A I can honestly say there's nothing more rewarding. Kenza was fortunately taken home as a puppy, but there are many dogs and cats which aren't so lucky. Pipo and Mafia are the longest staying residents of Triple A who've now been cared for more than three and five years! Despite the challenges the Triple A face, commitment to the cause is solid, thanks to the dedication from the president, the committee, the vets, cleaning staff, administrative staff, sponsors and not forgetting the honourable work from all the volunteers. Nobody can question the great job the the Triple A are doing but when asking Jan for a few final words he said, "the dream is that one day the Triple A won't exist, not by unfortunate closure/ events but simply because there shall be no need...."

The next event is a fundraising dinner at La Sala Banus on 9th September, with a silent auction and raffle. For further ticketing/event information please contact Steve on: + (34) 673 88 30 60.

WHAT’S HOT THIS

SUMMER NEW FROM GREAT LENGTHS

Vera is one of the most respected professional hair and make-up artists in Marbella and the Costa del Sol Vera has established her level of expertise and creativity since 1993. Starting her career in Helsinki, Vera gained her expertise in the fine structure of Scandinavian hair, which is a little more delicate and requires a little extra attention. Moving onto work in one of London’s top salons gaining many skills along the way including the different techniques in hair extensions, Vera then headed for a sunnier climate and Marbella became her home. Vera has been living and working in Marbella since 2000 and proudly opened her own salon in the spring of 2015. Vera is keen to stay up to date with the latest fashion trends and developments in hair technology so she enjoys doing regular courses here in Spain and internationally. Her passion is in technical work, she loves colouring hair as it is amazing how just a little change in shade can make your skin tone more flattering or make your eyes brighter. Living in Marbella you need a little outside inspiration to stay on top of your business so Vera enjoys travelling to see what the rest of the world has to offer. Vera speaks fluent Finnish, English and Spanish. From blow dries, highlights, texturing treatments to extensions, manicures, pedicures and eyelash extensions. The world’s leading hair extension brand, Great Lengths, have introduced a whole new range of new colours including bronde and balyage which are becoming really popular with clients. They have also introduced crazy colours including bright pinks, purples and blues so you can now thicken and/or extend your own locks in any colour way you please. This brand of hair extensions are by far superior in quality to other makes and like anything of great quality comes with a higher price tag. Great Lengths uses a keratin bonding system, to bond the extensions to your hair using an ultra-sonic machine guaranteeing maximum safety with a ‘no harm’ result. Alternatively the new The Great Lengths Tapes method is a great way of quickly adding length and volume or introducing colour with a more temporary tape-in application. Great Lengths Tapes can last 2 months if well maintained and can be re-taped up to 1-2 times. If you would like to keep your extensions full time, then we recommend the individual bonds as they last a lot longer - up to 4 months. So if you are looking for some volume, length or even a splash of colour, you can rest assured you’re in safe hands. Plus Great Lengths uses only 100% Fair Trade human hair so you will have nothing but the best.

SHORT HAIR, DON’T CARE Trendwise, we have noticed a lot more clients opting for shorter hair styles this spring and I expect this to be continue well into summer. By short I mean pixie crop short. Effortless and low maintenance for the summer heat we are about to experience in Marbella. Elsewhere we have noticed a lot more clients opting for the painted on look. This involves painting on bleach or a high lift tint to certain sections of the hair (as opposed to the normal highlighting process involving neat rows of foils) to create a more surfy, beachy look. Then if you blast your hair with Kevin Murphy’s ‘Beach Texturiser’ product, work through to the ends and leave your hair to dry naturally you will get a stunning, soft, beachy Tarifa look.

FIT FOR A PRINCESS We are also the first salon on the Costa Del Sol to have introduced a natural, organic hair care range of products from Kevin Murphy. The Australian brand, favoured by the soonto-be HRH Princess Meghan Markle, actress Emma Stone, supermodel Elle Macpherson and singer Selena Gomez. Kevin Murphy is truly the master of all things hair. Years of transforming lifeless locks into magazine-worthy waves have taught him everything there is to know about taming that mane, with his signature beach hair look gracing covers of countless print publications. Kevin Murphy has also won an Australia

HAIR &FASHION BEAUTY

Masters Award for his services to the hairdressing industry. His new organic haircare range, is testament to his success and is all about having weightlessness and body. You only need to use a tiny amount of product to achieve the desired result too.

KERATIN STRAIGHTENING Previous keratin hair straightening techniques have been very damaging to hair containing harsh products including formaldahyde. The new organic hair straightening treatment (from trusted hair repair brand Olaplex) has just been introduced to give you smooth hair in just two hours. It is perfect for people with frizzy hair who want shiny, healthy looking hair. It also eliminates the need to blow dry hair by up to 80% - so in the long run it is a lot better for your hair. Previously hair straightening was a five hour process with a harsh smell and now it is really pleasant to get done in just a few hours. We highly recommend this to clients as organic keratin straightening is the best and newest product development on the market. Olaplex took Kim Kardashian from black to white blonde without damaging her own hair in just 2 days.

ONLINE BOOKINGS To make life easier for our lovely clients we have just created a new online booking form on our website (www. hairdressermarbella.com) so you can literally just tick a few boxes for treatments that you require and we can give you various options of appointment times/dates to suit you.

As another Summer begins in sunny Marbella, bodies have been sculpted, blood sweat and tears have been shed and there are beautiful torsos everywhere. But Summer is long and the party season has begun. Instead of following your strict pre June Vegan Diets, Juicing, Detoxes and training twice a day; fitness and health has been replaced with pool parties, limited gym sessions and alcohol. So, how on earth do you get through the next 12 weeks of Summer and still come out the other end looking half as good as you started! After all, you have closing parties to look good for! Well, if you are one of the above, that partakes in the guilty pleasures Marbella has to offer, I won’t lie to you, you will not look the same as you did at the start, however I am going to give you some tips as to damage limitation! What to drink and how to exercise whilst you are enjoying the party season!

Gym Body Weight Exercises

You may not make it to the gym, however you have no excuse not to complete a few sets with your own body! The great thing is, you can do them anywhere and all you need is yourself. Bodyweight exercises are great for keeping in shape, toned and often use a lot of core strength, helping to keep that waist tight for the pool party photos and summer selfies. My 3 favourite bodyweight exercises: 1. The Jumping Squat - Fantastic for toning legs and bum, the jumping squat makes sure to work your cardiovascular system too! Try 4 sets of 25 reps and you will feel those quads working overtime! 2. The Press Up - Hitting the chest and upper body, this exercise is key for the males looking to bring their Alpha to the party with a pumped up chest. Hit variations of narrow grip to work the triceps. 4 sets to failure should do the trick. 3. The Burpee - The Ultimate Love/Hate exercise, mainly hate, that practically hits the whole body and will leave you feeling like you’ve run a half marathon. 5 minutes of EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute) Count how many reps you can do in 40 seconds, that will be your target and at the start of every minute, that is the amount of reps you must hit. Whatever time remains of the minute is your rest! I guarantee just 5 minutes will do. These 3 exercises should take no longer than 15-20 minutes in total. There is no excuse not to complete this once a day! And the use of bodyweight for resistance and HIIT will leave you with a nice toned beach body.

HEALTH & FITNESS FASHION

Swimming

If you are going to be by the beach, or sunning your bodies by the Pool, make sure you Swim! Swimming is a fantastic all body workout and Cardiovascular activity. Even better, is the fact if you know how, almost anyone can swim, even with some aches, pains or injuries. Just take a look at some of the top flight swimmers to see the broad shoulders and long muscles these guys and girls get from swimming regularly. From June to September I like to wake up and swim before work and everyday I try and add just one length on. You will be amazed how quickly your CV improves. Plus, if you are feeling a little fragile from the night or day before, a cold pool will help liven you up.

Upper/Lower Splits The majority of people don’t have time to train everyday, or 6 times a week or for that matter even 5 times a week, especially when Summer is here. We live here for a reason and that reason is lifestyle. Therefore, I believe this simple tip of changing your workout routine or split can help keep you in shape and still allow you to enjoy what Summer has to offer here in Marbella. I suggest, split your workouts into upper body and lower body and take a rest day between each. But for that session/sessions, make sure your really do go hard! This way, you end up working out every other day, which is realistic and you will be hitting all body parts probably once to possible twice per week, which is sufficient for keeping our bodies in shape!

So, I have this conversation daily with clients (no names mentioned, you know who you are) but no alcoholic drink is good for you! There are roughly 150-250kcals in alcoholic beverages, slimline/diet mixer or not! And, no, none of those calories are healthy or will make you look any better! However, I am a realist and I work with a range of clients, the majority still enjoying the finer things in life. What I say to all of them is exactly the same… Calories are calories, if you have 3 drinks on a night out that comes to 500kcal, you need to lose that 500kcal somewhere, whether it is in food or in burring 500kcal more. Preferably the second. And by no means, take those calories away from your Protein intake! Anyway, before I go into a rant on drinking, calories and all the additional food decisions and lack of exercising the next day as a result, I am going to be unprofessional and tell you the best under 100kcal alcoholic drinks to drink, if you must! (Disclaimer: I am not encouraging you to drink!!!)

1. Champagne One of the least calorific alcoholic drinks out there, except shots and Vermouth (which no one has ever ordered at a Pool party before) and champagne has approximately 85kcal per small glass. Cheers! 2. Light Beer Hard to come across, but light beers can come in at as little as 99kcal per 330ml bottle. Or do the Spanish thing and take a Cana instead of a pint! 3. Vodka and Soda The Marbella special. And with just 97kcal per 1.5oz serving we can see why people wanting to keep calories low opt for this drink! Remember, drink plenty of water in between each drink, don’t over indulge and you will keep your calories and waist down and feel fresh again in the morning to go for your body weight circuit, swim or upper body/lower body workout.

RESTAURANT REVIEW

THE BOARDWALK After living in Marbella for a number of years I am surprised that this was my first visit to The Boardwalk along Marbella’s Paseo Maritimo, it was a wonderful find! The restaurant decor has a beach theme with a comprehensive menu and is stunningly set along the Marbella golden sand with both inside and outside dining. The restaurant is open for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner and Cocktails! So whatever time of day you wander by you will be able to find something to make you happy that caters for every taste. I have now found a new favourite place over summer to bring guests and meet friends for many outings. The staff were obliging and had good knowledge of their menu and the ingredients in each dish as well as on their drink lists. They were able to recommend good options for me which I enjoyed. However it is going to take a number of lazy Sundays or week day brunches in order to appreciate the full selection of tastes offered. I can understand why the restaurant was voted Best Restaurant in the Marbella Awards, the annual awards ceremony run by Marbella Rocks Magazine.

I was impressed by their vibrant lunch menu and got carried away with all the selections on the especially well priced menu. We agreed to try a number of dishes and share them between the two of us. All of the food was thoroughly tasteful with extra care and attention taken on the presentation of the food. Starting with a sharing platter with the ingredients made inhouse and fresh, Hummus and Guacamole, pita, quesadillas, spring rolls and crispy prawns which was a lovely start and had a good mix of tasty appetisers.

RESTAURANTFASHION REVIEW

Followed by a goat cheese salad that had a nice addition of beets and caramalized walnuts and sizeable enough to share also. There were many salad selections for healthy alternatives on the menu. We then tried the Prawn Pil Pil Pizza which had a chilli zing from the sriracha sauce to wake up your senses, your tastebuds need to like a little bit of spice as with any Pil Pil flavour. The ribs with the red cabbage slaw and fat fries were the highlight of the meal. I loved the fat fries and the ribs were perfectly slow roasted and succulently marinated in a bbq sauce. It was a hard decision to select an option for desert as this is my favourite part of the meal and I get carried away with sweet selections. I chose the decadent warm brownie with a vanilla ice cream, a dish I can never go past and this pleased my sweet tooth cravings and was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal. The restaurant has a Happy Hour for 1/2 price burgers, pizza and pasta every day from 4:30pm - 6:30pm every day (except Sunday) which is a great time to sit relax and enjoy a glass of wine before the dinner rush starts. There were so many other options that I will be returning to try including gluten free if needed. The breakfast menu had many options that caught my attention, also to return for high tea is a must! I have not found anywhere else that serves high tea on the coast and it is a rare find to have a fresh, homemade scone with a nice selection of teas and a lovely idea for a baby shower where they will help you organise and decorate the event to make it special. There were so many desserts and cakes that need to be tasted but over time not to over indulge!

DRINKS

The cocktail list is extensive, it will take many sun soaked evenings over summer to sample, especially with their current happy hour special of two for one per person every day except Sunday from 4:30pm - 7:00pm. They offer the classic cocktails to many specialities which have a variety of flavours with different liquor bases. There is no better way to spend an afternoon or evening with good food and a good cocktail and a lovely beach view. For the people that really love their cocktails or looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon with friends or colleagues the restaurant bar offers cocktail classes where you can make 3 of your favourite cocktails for only â‚Ź20 per person. This is a great addition to a birthday or hen party or even a team building activity with your work.

FAMILY FRIENDLY FOR KIDS

This is a family friendly restaurant that has an atmosphere suitable to come with children. Especially with the great idea for kids to be able to put their own ingredients on the pizza on a separate buffet table where they are given chef hats. They get to participate in creating their own meal which makes a fun dining experience for them! There were many other different dishes for children to choose from which is a nice change from the usual unhealthy menu options children are given.

Every wine on their comprehensive wine list is available by the glass. Being a kiwi I was pleasantly surprised to find a New Zealand renowned Sauvignon Blanc on the list, something that I believe every good wine list should have! As well as many other international selections from Argintina, Chile, Spain, France.. So of course I couldn't go past trying the Sauvignon Blanc which was fresh and crispy with a hint of passion fruit and reminded me why NZ is so well recognised for good wine!!

IN SUMMARY

The overall experience at Boardwalk has made this a restaurant I am looking forward to returning to and showing to my summer visitors and meeting friends for a casual drink or something to eat. The variety from morning breakfasts for early risers to dinner and cocktail evenings with a sunset will allow anyone an easy relax and escape with the beach in front of you, just to sit and enjoy a good meal, atmosphere and service. JUNE 2018

ROCKS ASTROLOGY FORECAST Aries

Gemini

Leo

21 MAR – 20 APR

22 MAY – 21 JUNE

24 JULY – 23 AUG

Do you need to course correct or have your priorities changed? If so, just adjust. If not – recommit to your path and inject it with fresh ideas as you’ll have those to spare now. Follow those desires especially when it comes to goals around romance and what you love to do or dream of doing – either professionally or as a hobby. This month puts you in the spotlight in some way. Be ready to receive attention so ensure you are both looking and feeling your best. It’s all about attraction now and the rule is: You radiate – you attract back in kind. Stand out. Spread the joy. Show your passion. And share your ideas. Business matters are favoured as well as love or at the very least a flirtation or two. Lost for words? Not likely now. You’ll have plenty to talk about – and set others talking in all the right ways this June.

The phrase ‘you own it’ comes to mind for you this month. And it’s more than just the sass and optimism we normally associate with your birthday cycle. You ‘own’ your power, your talents, your skills, your money, your career and yes – that intense and irresistible magnetism you are broadcasting on all frequencies. Singles will get a response and a relationship could begin now that will take you places you have never travelled to before – physically, spiritually or even literally. Unforgettable? As the song says: that’s what you are. But any relationship you form now could be just that as well. Focus on what you can do to realise those dreams for the next 12 months. It’s about understanding that it is you and only you who can set in motion actions that turn dreams into tangible goals. It’s very much about taking control of your world, your resources and your relationships and steering your destiny in the direction you need it to go. You own your future.

Flaming June could turn up the heat in the form of a sizzling attraction. Something or someone sending the temperature soaring – or you are finding ways to do just that. There’s no middle ground – it’s all or nothing, in or out, passion or ‘Meh!’ and Yin/Yang. Whatever it is – you feel intensely about it and what’s more – aren’t afraid to express this. You can attract your ‘opposite’ in more ways than one. Including opponents, enemies or ‘frenemies’ who reveal their true colours. Strong feelings will be involved one way or another. Someone from your past may turn up, perhaps needing your help or with a sob story you have heard before. Before diving in with your usual generosity, ask yourself: Have they changed? And most importantly: What effect does this have on your energy? If so understand sometimes the best way of helping someone is to just listen but say ‘No’.

Taurus

Cancer

Virgo

21 APR – 20 MAY

22 JUNE – 23 JULY

24 AUG – SEPT 3

Claim the freedom to express a bigger, bolder, sexier kind of love! At the very least you could be looking at an important new friendship forming this month. Be out and about. There is also a past flavour creeping in. Missed meetings and connections. People from your past who eerily turn up right after you thought about them for the first time in ages. Stand by for more of that as well as re-imagining those goals and dreams too. Expand them and create a multiverse in your mind where you have brought them into reality. What you can dream, you have a good chance of having, doing or experiencing now. All kinds of twosomes and not just the romantic variety are favoured – as well as the benefits that flow via them. Some of you may benefit from a partner’s success or the generosity of someone close to you. Don’t limit yourself to just thinking in romantic terms when you hear the word ‘partner’. The power of two is yours to explore this month, Taurus.

June is about what you love to do and exploring possibilities. It’s about dreaming big and then getting a chance to live that dream for real. So, set your intentions to play, explore and express your passion. Revisiting your past has a role to play here. Reclaiming those discarded dreams and then reimagining them. Revisiting old loves and travelling to places where you have strong ties to the past are other themes you will encounter. As will tapping into all that learning and experience you have amassed in the past. And apply this to the present to bring about a future that is yours to weave and create. Your birthday cycle this year promises the start of a powerful awakening. It’s time for new experiences, new friends and new opportunities. You’ll need to be flexible and open minded. But your success is going to be intertwined with groups, friends and who you know and interact with now. Let others rock your world – in all the right ways.

Best face forward this June, Virgo! It’s all about your image and how you are seen especially professionally. Focus on how to get yourself noticed in all the right ways either personally or professionally now. Once you are happy with the results – make your move but be ready to switch direction if something better appears. An unexpected invitation or bolt from the blue suddenly opens doors that may have been closed. Take those ideas and promote them and in sharing them, promote yourself. You need to reach for a touch of showmanship combined with professional smarts. Presenting to an audience and influencing people – whether this is in a selling, presentation or interview situation is likely. If so, you have the ability to get them to sit up, take note and make a lasting impression. It’s very much about your ‘public’ face this June and how you come across to others. Dare to dazzle.

Libra

Sagittarius

Aquarius

24 SEPT – 23 OCT

23 NOV – 21 DEC

21 JAN – 19 FEB

Set your values at the start of the month and determine not just what it is you want but what you are prepared to trade, leverage or sell out for. You’re being asked to set your own price and this stems from your value system. Just what are you, your talents and skills, worth? June sees you negotiating something in your favour and this could be that salary, benefits or even the T&C of that new relationship. One thing is certain – you won’t be selling yourself or your ideas short now. Time to work your ‘brand’. In other words, you and what you have to offer. Contracts and business dealings are favoured and important agreements can be reached. If a job change is not on the horizon, then more work and responsibility may be on its way – along with the money and recognition that goes with it. Above all, take yourself seriously now because if you don’t, how do you expect others to?

Step into a new cycle of ‘relating’. It begins with how well you relate to yourself too. What you attract now is going to be based on how well you understand yourself. So, the people and circumstances that appear in June are going to be a direct reflection of that. Take note as they are reflections of who you are! Mirror, mirror – you don’t need to look on the wall but to the outside world to show you how beautiful you believe you are. If you don’t like what is being reflected back at you – then it’s your internal image that needs adjusting and not the external one. Travel and all things Sag-flavoured feature. The great outdoors. The law. Academia. The mass media. As does attracting a lover who looks like they just returned from an archaeological dig in the Andes – but scrubs up incredibly well for dinner. Just a few possibilities you could attract by relating to yourself in a brand new way.

Back to the future! June sees your past ‘catching up’ with you on some level. This could quite literally be someone from your past reappearing. But what is more likely is that you will be able to reframe the past and see how your choices and decisions in the past led you to where you are now. Owning our choices and taking responsibility for them is the key to creating a better future. If you have regrets it means you learned from the experience. Place this in context and move forward. Then time for a little glamour and sparkle to enter your life. Children or people younger than you may play a role in reconnecting you with your ability to play and have fun. Romance may be off to a flying start and then inexplicably cool. If so, don’t panic. You’ll make a series of fresh choices based on what you have learned about yourself in the past. And they include being able to sit back, take your time and see what develops.

SCORPIO

Capricorn

Pisces

24 OCT – 22 NOV

22 DEC – 20 JAN

20 FEB – 20 MAR

Give in to those big, wild dreams this month, Scorpio. Especially if they involve travel, adventure, learning, the outdoors, mass media or just you daring to do. Go back over what fires you up and ignites your passion. You want something bigger, bolder, better and chances are you’ve wanted it before but discarded it for whatever reason. June gets you fired up and also understanding you have your dreams for a reason. And that reason is more powerful than any of the excuses or pressure you may have felt to give them up. Just dreaming however, won’t cut it. Depart from the mundane, be prepared to live life large and on the edge, and take the first step towards living the reality and you will set in motion the energy that brings in seemingly ‘lucky’ breaks and synchronicities sent direct from the multiverse. Live the dream to make it real.

Make time for love this June, Capricorn. When it comes to love and partnerships, you’re awakening to a new relationship dynamic. Time to embrace the change – possibly in its human form. If it’s that new lover you’re seeking - be seen. Do what you can to attract them and then once you have – stop trying. Let the process work its magic. You won’t want to be alone now but the flip side to this coin is that it is better to love your own company or just be with friends, than with the wrong person. Wrong or right? If you are currently in a relationship or seeing someone, you will know for certain whether or not this is a keeper by the month’s end. Others just could meet the love of their life or forge an important new friendship. Just watch for any situation where ‘It’s complicated’ or where someone appears way too keen for comfort. Time for love means love can take its time so ask yourself: What’s the rush?

Lifestyle choices feature especially if love or being acknowledged for what you do are amongst your goals. So, don’t be alone with that boxset or even contemplating the meaning of life now. Live it. It’s time to get yourself noticed in all the right ways. This month promises new beginnings in a couple of key areas but this one is going to revolve around something feel good – especially love or anything that allows you to shine. But you need to take the initiative. Start something new and don’t wait for ‘something’ to find you. Those lifestyle choices include claiming your life and the way you want to live it. Look closely at whether you are living up to your family’s (or even society’s) expectations or your own. This is your life. June says it’s time to live it your way. This month we caught up with ‘Mummy Marbella’ aka Lina Hodgkins, who is marketing Diector for the Lineker’s Group looking after prestigious venues including Tibu, Babilonia, Bijou, Portside, Lineker’s, Premier Lapdance and Tibu’s Rooftop Restaurant. We caught up with Lina to find out what’s in store for Summer 2018 and a bit about the glamorous TV starlet herself.

LINA HODGKINS SO LINA, HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE BACK FOR YOUR 13TH SEASON IN MARBELLA? It’s quite scary at how times flies, once the season starts one day just goes into another and I just get on with it. I can’t really believe that it’s been 13 years! TIBU’S LINE-UP LOOKS BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER BEFORE ARE YOU EXCITED TO BE WORKING WITH 3 OF THE BIGGEST NAMES IN THE NIGHTCLUB INDUSTRY… MAYFAIR SESSIONS, LOVEJUICE AND SINTILLATE? This year’s lineup I believe is the best Tibu has ever had, these brands are synonymous with throwing the best parties and are recognized throughout the UK and Marbella – so great addition for Tibu. CAN YOU TELL US A BIT MORE ABOUT NEW TIBU NIGHT CLIQUE? Clique is the new mid-week event and is run by some of the staff, so they are really excited about this as all of bars get involved. It is all about the music, House, RnB and Hip-Hop. BABILONIA WON BEST BAR IN THE MARBELLA AWARDS 2017 – IS THERE ANYTHING NEW FOR THE FRONT LINE VENUE THIS YEAR? The owners continually invest in Babilonia, as a venue it has just gone from strength to strength, Babilonia have a great team working there and they are very passionate about the bar, which is why it continues to be the best bar on the front line of Puerto Banus. LINEKER’S AND PORTSIDE ARE NOTORIOUSLY THE PLACES TO GO TO WATCH FOOTBALL – HOW ARE YOU EXPECTING THE WORLD CUP 2018 TO GO OFF IN THE PORT? These are the only places to watch the World Cup, I absolutely love it and I am not a football fan, however the atmosphere is always incredible, all the staff are so excited for the England games. Linekers and Portside both go all out to make it happen, it becomes mini-England, inside and outside, let’s hope that the England team actually perform and can go further than they have in the last few World Cups.

YOU ARE SOMEWHAT OF A CELEBRITY AFTER STARRING IN ITVBE REALITY SHOWS ‘LIFE ON MARBS’ AND ‘PLAYA IN MARBELLA’ – DO YOU GET NOTICED BY FANS A LOT? I wouldn’t say I am a celebrity, but even after two years, I still get recognised for photos and a chat, people still seem to have a bit of a soft spot for “Mummy Marbella.” YOUR STRUGGLE WITH GIVING UP SMOKING WAS WELL DOCUMENTED IN BOTH SHOWS! HAVE YOU QUIT YET? I would like to say yes – but unfortunately no – at the moment I have given up trying to give up and I have tried everything from acupuncture to burying cigarette in plant pots. Smoking is like my best friend – its get me through the day! AND WILL YOU BE BACK ON OUR TV SCREENS ANYTIME SOON? (PLEASE SAY YES!) I would love to say yes – but at this moment unfortunately no, who knows what will happen – the production companies need to re-visit it, as I would love to do it all over again. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR BEST CHARACTER TRAIT? I am brutally honest, not sure if some may think that is the best, but for me I would rather say what I think than not, I know this can upset people, but I won’t ever make any apologies for it, that is just how I am. WHAT’S THE BEST ADVICE YOU’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN? Live life to the full, you never know what’s around the corner, and I certainly try to! WHAT’S YOUR WORST HABIT? Haha – it has to be smoking! WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE GROWING UP? I wanted to be an air hostess, now I couldn’t think of anything worse, I would rather sit on the plane and be waited on – rather that the other way around. WHAT ACTRESS WOULD PLAY YOU IN THE MOVIE VERSION OF YOUR LIFE?

Would have to be Dame Helen Mirren, she has so much character and is so feisty. MOST EMBARRASSING ITEM IN YOUR WARDROBE? Believe it or not I don’t have anything – I clear out my wardrobe every year and if I haven’t worn it for a year it goes. WHAT OUR MALE READERS WANT TO KNOW – ARE YOU SINGLE? Yes – I am and that is by choice right now. WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN A GUY? I like men with no hang-ups (hard to find) and who can make me laugh, so a big personality is much more important than looks and they must have their own teeth. WHAT COULDN'T YOU LIVE WITHOUT? My cigarettes – haha. IF YOU COULD ONLY TAKE 3 THINGS TO A DESSERT ISLAND WHAT WOULD THEY BE AND WHY? My feather pillow as I like my sleep. My lipstick, I never leave the house without my lippy on and clean knickers for obvious reasons. IF SOMEONE ASKED TO BE YOUR APPRENTICE AND LEARN ALL THAT YOU KNOW, WHAT WOULD YOU TEACH THEM? That is classified information! BEST THING ABOUT LIVING IN MARBELLA? There are so many, the weather of course, I love the diversity of Marbella and meeting so many people from all walks of life and the outdoor living. AND THE WORST THING? The rules and regulation and red tape for everything, but the worst is the banks – so, so slow.
