Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival, il festival internazionale del Cinema e della Comunicazione sociale dei ragazzi, compie 25 anni e con la magia delle luci del cinema la città di Marano di Napoli si trasforma, ancora una volta, in una sorta di posto ideale dove si coltiva il sogno che ci possa essere un altro mondo in cui le più disparate situazioni si armonizzano in un obiettivo comune. Un mondo in cui i giovani, gli adulti, gli insegnanti, l’universo della cultura e delle istituzioni sono solidali, pieni di speranza, in ascolto reciproco. Un mondo dove poter denunciare emergenze e bisogni, raccontare desideri, avanzare proposte e descrivere vie da seguire.

La possibilità di un mondo migliore si esprime qui, in terra di camorra, attraverso la bellezza delle relazioni umane, dove ognuno è chiamato ad assumersi la propria parte di responsabilità verso il territorio, verso l’altro, verso la vita sociale tutta.

Si esprime qui, nei ricordi di intere generazioni di ragazzi, in storie di riscatto sociale e di incontri che hanno determinato profonde scelte di vita, in storie che ci parlano di ragazzi, ora adulti, che grazie al festival portano tatuate nell’anima le parole giustizia, solidarietà, amore, pace, legalità.

Il cinema è per tutti magia, sogno, immaginazione, ma qui da noi è anche e soprattutto impegno sociale, accoglienza, scoperta, felicità. Con questi intenti il festival ci accompagnerà in giro per il mondo in un viaggio che nell’ incontro di nuove culture, ci farà riflettere sulle denunce dei problemi che ovunque affliggono la condizione umana. Un lungo ed emozionante sequence shot che ci farà guardare con curiosità e occhi sempre nuovi a quell’universo di sofferenza che va dalle atrocità della guerra alla violenza sulle donne, dai diritti LGTB all’inquinamento, dallo sfruttamento minorile agli abusi di potere e ad ogni altra forma di sopraffazione.

Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival è un semplice atto d’amore della scuola, regalato da 25 anni a queste nostre terre devastate dall’ incuria e dal malaffare, e portato avanti da inguaribili sognatori che vogliono continuare a volare, aggrappati all’aquilone simbolo del festival, sui confini dell’impossibile per spalancare le porte di quel mondo migliore e possibile dove poter crescere tante altre generazioni di donne e di uomini libere, giuste e felici.

DESIRÉE SABATINI

Desirée Sabatini è professore associato in discipline dello spettacolo presso il Dams, Università degli Studi Link Campus University, dove dal 2017 al 2021 è stata assegnista di ricerca sull’audiovisivo teatrale. Ha conseguito il Dottorato in Storia, Teoria e Tecnica del Teatro e dello Spettacolo presso l’Università di Roma, dove è stata successivamente, dal 2012 al 2015, titolare di un assegno di ricerca senior per il progetto Europeo European Library of Artistic Performance e di un assegno di ricerca per il progetto: “Tecnologie e metodologie di analisi e restauro dello spettacolo digitale”. L’ambito di ricerca riguarda l’uso delle tecnologie digitali per la storia del teatro e, in particolare, l’interazione fra ricerca scientifica e tecnologica e gli studi sul teatro, mediante un approfondito utilizzo delle fonti audiovisive, il montaggio, l’edizione di audiovisivi teatrali, finalizzato alla ricerca e alla didattica; la realizzazione degli archivi digitali della memoria teatrale; il recupero, mediante restauro digitale, dei documenti audiovisivi storici.

DEMETRIO SALVI

Nasce a Napoli nel 1961. Laureato in Lettere moderne, alterna la sua attività d’insegnante con esperienze di scrittura, di critica e di regia. Dirige documentari, cortometraggi e mediometraggi, premiati in festival nazionali e internazionali. Scrive alcuni manuali sul cinema, saggi, romanzi. Del 2015 è il documentario Cibodamare, presentato all’Expo di Milano, e il lungometraggio Casting A_mozzarella_n_i_g_g_a (2017) è un docufilm musicale presentato in diversi festival internazionali. Assieme a Federico Chiacchiari fonda la rivista e la Scuola di Cinema Sentieri selvaggi. Nel 2020 fonda la casa editrice L’undicesima copia. Tiene in tutta Italia corsi di sceneggiatura e regia.

Ideatrice e Presidente di School Movie. Enza Ruggiero è presentatrice di importanti eventi culturali e convegni legati al mondo scolastico del territorio campano e non solo, conduttrice presso Wedding TV, Telecolore e Irpinia Tv. Inviata giornalista, wedding reporter presso Donna TV; è un volto noto al pubblico campano per la sua presenza in vari format di successo girati in Campania, testimonial di numerosi Spot e campagne pubblicitarie. Ha studiato Scienze della Comunicazione all’Università degli Studi di Salerno laurea quinquennale con 110 e lode ed è un’affermata esperta di comunicazione per l’organizzazione e conduzione di eventi e di iniziative speciali. Vanta anche delle partecipazioni in lungometraggi. La sua principale attività nel mondo del cinema è quella di interprete e tra i lavori più interessanti possiamo citare la partecipazione nel lm “Sotto il cielo” (2001) di Michelangelo Antonucci.

ANTONELLA DI NOCERA

Produttrice, educatrice e curatrice di eventi, nel 2002 fonda e dirige tuttora Parallelo 41 produzioni per valorizzare talenti e contenuti indipendenti nel cinema del reale. Nella sua carriera ha sempre abbinato attivismo sociale, promozione dei giovani e connessioni internazionali. Nel 2020 le sue ultime tre produzioni erano presenti a Rotterdam Biennale di Venezia e Festival dei popoli.

Producer, educator and curator of events, in 2002 she founded and still directs 41 Parallelo productions to enhance talents and independent contents in the cinema of reality. In her career she has always combined social activism, promotion of young people and international connections. In 2020, her last three productions were present at the Rotterdam Venice Biennale and the Peoples Festival.

VALERIA BEVILACQUA

Valeria Bevilacqua produttore programma televisivo Casa Italia di Rai Italia - Raiplay, dedicato agli italiani all'estero. Interessata ai nuovi linguaggi e alle forme di comunicazione sempre in movimento. Mi guardo intorno sempre alla ricerca di stimoli nuovi e alla scoperta di culture diverse. "Scout una volta scout per sempre", cresciuta in un contesto di gruppo mi piace il lavoro fatto in team e allo scambio di idee, il gruppo fondamentale per la crescita personale. Convinta che lo scambio tra culture serva ad abbattere muri sempre più alti da superare, gli ostacoli vanno affrontati con una grande dose di positività. Tengo sempre presente il fatto che "un sorriso non costa nulla, ma vale molto".

VIVIANA CALÒ

Viviana Calò (1982) si forma come sceneggiatrice sin dall'adolescenza, partecipando a diversi corsi di formazione di importanti autori cinematografici italiani, da Starnone a Donati. Dopo gli studi classici e una laurea cum laude in Lingua e Letteratura straniera presso l'Università di Napoli “L'Orientale”, si specializza in scrittura cine-radio-televisiva con un Master allo IED di Roma e in produzione presso Cinecittà Holding.Nel 2016 fonda la TELEAUT PRODUZIONI con cui produce il lungometraggio QUERIDO FIDEL, di cui è anche autrice e regista. Il film riceve il premio come miglior regia e miglior attore protagonista (Gianfelice Imparato) al Bif&st 2021, la nomination ai Nastri d'Argento 2021 per miglior attore di commedia e altri premi.

GIANCARLO ZAGONE

Giancarlo Zagone, siciliano di nascita, da sempre attratto dalle arti visive, già giovanissimo lavora presso una tv locale della sua città come cameraman e al montaggio video, si trasferisce a Pisa dove affianca agli studi di ingegneria la passione per la regia cinematografica, video, grafica e fotografia.

Attualmente insegnante, ha ideato e realizzato il festival internazionale “Timeline Film Festival” giunto alla 13° edizione, inoltre ha ottenuto importanti riconoscimenti nazionali ed internazionali con numerosi video realizzati in ambito scolastico e non. Ha curato la comunicazione grafica di diverse mostre di arte contemporanea.

ADOLFO FATTORI è Dottore di ricerca in Sociologia e scienze sociali. È stato docente di scuola media superiore. Attualmente è in pensione, ma continua a insegnare, in particolare discipline sociologiche all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli, dopo averle insegnate alla Federico II. È fra i più vecchi "amici" del Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival.

ELENA PASETTI

Proviene dalla scuola e si occupa di immagine/arte, comunicazione e sistemi educativi da oltre quarant’anni. A Brescia è stata cofondatrice di AVISCO nel 1990.Ha diretto PInAC, Pinacoteca internazionale dell'età evolutiva Aldo Cibaldi, per due decenni; è presidente onorario del CIAS -Coordinamento Italiano Audiovisivi a Scuola. Nel 1987 ha introdotto in Italia la sperimentazione di Videoattivo. Co-autrice di programmi didattici, ha firmato monografie sull’educazione all’immagine e sui Cartoni animati a scuola. Nel 2019 ha curato il volume NEL CUORE DEI DIRITTI, i disegni e i sogni dei bambini, i doveri e le responsabilità degli adulti.

Dirigente scolastico in pensione.

È stato presidente del Collegio dei Garanti di Libera e ne è attualmente componente.

Ha iniziato la sua collaborazione con il Marano Ragazzi Spot Festival fin dai suoi primi anni, realizzando numerosi gemellaggi con le scuole di Marano durante i quali i ragazzi realizzavano gli spot, mandati in onda dalla Rai, sul 21 Marzo per ricordare le vittime delle mafie.

È stato assessore alla legalità del Comune Lentini e responsabile del progetto di confisca dei beni ai mafiosi “Casa nostra, fattoria della Legalità”.

Dopo la rivoluzione del 1979 in Iran è stata costituita la repubblica islamica guidata da Ruhollah Khomeini. E da subito l’obbligo per le donne di indossare l'hijab. Fin dall'inizio, le donne hanno protestato contro questa coercizione e sono state represse. Il regime è diventato più forte e le repressioni si sono intensificate. Dopo 44 anni, le donne si oppongono ancora all'hijab obbligatorio e sono ancora oppresse.

After the 1979 revolution in Iran, the Islamic republic led by Ruhollah Khomeini was established. And immediately the obligation for women to wear the hijab. Nel 1922 due umili famiglie di pescatori marchigiani decidono di partire per la “ ‘Merica ”, l’America.

Accade però l’imprevedibile: una tempesta in mare aperto travolge e distrugge la loro barca, unica fonte di sopravvivenza.

Le speranze si tramutano in preoccupazioni e paura, in una realtà che impone loro una scelta e condizionerà il futuro delle generazioni a venire.

In 1922 two humble families of fishermen from the Marche decided to leave for "'Merica", America. However, the unpredictable happens: a storm on the open sea overwhelms and destroys their boat, the only source of survival.

Hopes turn into worries and fear, into a reality that imposes a choice on them and will affect the future of generations to come.

Nato a San Severino Marche nel 1997. Laureatosi presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Macerata nel 2019, lavora al suo primo cortometraggio, Okike, nel 2017, come segretario di edizione. Continua a lavorare come segretario di edizione per cortometraggi (tra cui Indimenticabile; Il vaccino), lungometraggi (Come niente) e documentari. ‘MERICA rappresenta il suo esordio alla regia.

Ma la sola scrittura non sempre soddisfa le esigenze dell’autore e così la voglia di raccontare per immagini le sue storie lo spinge a studiare Regia cinematografica e Sceneggiatura. Il seme della speranza è un cortometraggio, che ha come protagonisti Tancredi, un supplente di lettere, e tre ragazzi di prima media, Samuele, Marco e il siriano Nasser vittima di discriminazioni da parte dei suoi compagni di classe che vengono incitati da Marco, un bullo in fl uenzato dalle idee xenofobe del padre. Samuele prenderà la difesa di Nesser, mentre il professore prenderà questo episodio come esempio per far riflettere la classe. Tancredi, infatti, insegnerà agli studenti l'importanza della conoscenza per l'integrazione socioculturale, sottolineando l'importanza delle giovani generazioni nella costruzione di un futuro migliore.

Questo era un immaginario di paranoia su un futuro incerto e quasi spaventoso che si è inesorabilmente scavato nella mente delle persone e i media ne sono stati i principali fautori. Il film segue un ipotetico telegiornale dell'epoca con l'obiettivo di far incontrare le visioni distopiche del passato e la nostra contemporaneità: un chiaro riferimento alla manipolazione da parte dei media come se fosse un vero lavaggio del cervello, un lavaggio risultante dalla loro continua drammatizzazione e che rende catastrofico tutto ciò che ha portato a un caos di sensazioni dove possibilità e fantasia si mescolano in un groviglio insolubile. Allora cosa dobbiamo credere? E cosa no?

The story follows a woman's journey from childhood to adulthood, showing all the difficult choices and compromises she has to make to survive, in a world that hinders her because of her gender. The challenges are shown in relation to the various periods of growth, which the protagonist faces becoming more and more aware of the discrimination she experiences, finally finding redemption in collaboration.

Si iscrive al CSC, lavorando contemporaneamente come illustratore e animatore freelance per vari brand come FILA e vincendo alcuni concorsi pubblici. Ha lavorato come regista e artista BG nel suo film di diploma, The Granary. Dal 2021 collabora come freelance con alcuni dei più importanti studi di animazione nazionali. Born in Turin in 1997. Sin da bambina ha sviluppato un particolare interesse per la cinematografia e le arti pittoriche. All'età di sedici anni partecipa ad un anno di scambio scolastico in Argentina. Di ritorno in Italia inizia a lavorare nelle prime produzioni cinematografiche collaborando con case di produzione della zona. Nel 2019 partecipa inoltre come giuria al Premio David Giovani di Donatello, alla sezione Generator +18 del Giffoni Film Festival e alla menzione DAMSLab del Terra di Tutti Film Festival.

“Tonino” è un cortometraggio dedicato alla memoria di Antonio Esposito Ferraioli, chef e sindacalista CGIL ucciso dalla camorra il 30 agosto 1978 a Pagani, in provincia di Salerno. Due colpi di lupara lo hanno ferito a morte nella casa della sua futura moglie. Aveva solo 27 anni. La sua colpa di sindacalista è stata il rifiuto di cuocere la carne marcia per la mensa delle Fatme, un grande stabilimento industriale di Pagani. In fabbrica si batteva anche per migliorare le condizioni di lavoro dei suoi compagni di lavoro. La camorra non lo ha perdonato. Ad oggi non ci sono condanne né per i mandanti né per gli autori dell'omicidio di Esposito Ferraioli. Il corto inizia e finisce sulla scena dell'omicidio. La storia inizia subito dopo l'esecuzione. Siamo nel 1978. È la sera del delitto. Da allora il tempo è stato sospeso, a quarant'anni dall'omicidio, la sua presenza aleggia ancora per le strade della città. Una presenza leggera, impalpabile. Due ragazze sedute su un prato trascorrono il tempo insieme in tranquillità chiacchierando allegramente, fino a quando non si accorgono che, tra i rami di un albero vicino, vi sono due origami di colombe. Raccogliendo le colombe, le ragazze scoprono che esse sono stropicciate e macchiate di sangue. Subito lo sconforto invade l’animo di una delle due, nonostante l’altra ragazza tenti invano di rincuorarla. Mentre sullo sfondo si possono ascoltare diverse citazioni celebri sul tema della pace in diverse lingue (Arabo, inglese, Ucraino, Russo, etc.), fortunatamente altre ragazze e ragazzi accorrono “armati” di fogli per costruire nuovi origami. Del resto, la pace va costruita in comunità, tutti insieme nella luce poiché “è meglio accendere una candela, piuttosto che maledire l’oscurità”.

Anche se negli ultimi anni sono stati compiuti progressi in materia di istruzione, nel mondo ci sono ancora difficoltà per l’ingresso dei bambini nella scuola; pertanto i governi devono impegnarsi più a fondo per garantire l’istruzione scolastica a tutti. In classe abbiamo riflettuto insieme confrontandoci su questa problematica.

In particolare ci siamo soffermati proprio sulle parole: cosa vuol dire istruzione? Cosa vuol dire qualità? Nella nostra vita quotidiana consideriamo la scuola un dovere pesante e non pensiamo invece che per molti bambini l’istruzione è un sogno spesso irrealizzabile. Nel nostro spot mettiamo in evidenza la voglia dei bambini di poter realizzare questo diritto.

Una musica allegra e scanzonata lo sottolinea, invitando gli spettatori al gioco. Ad un certo punto la musica si interrompe e una ragazza, con aria seria, rappresenta con la mano il gesto internazionale d'aiuto; un ragazzo entra in campo e prova a ricordarne il significato, ma si arrende. A seguire intervengono diversi ragazzi i quali spiegano come chiedere aiuto con questo semplice gesto silenzioso, se ci si trova in una situazione di pericolo, e invitano a non rimanere indifferenti, se si vede il segnale, rivolgendosi a chi di competenza.

E' uno spot contro il razzismo, nato in occasione della "Giornata internazionale per l'eliminazione della discriminazione razziale" del 21 marzo 2022. Lo spot è nato dalla collaborazione tra l'Istituto Gorjux-Tridente –Vivante, la "Casa delle Culture", il Comune di Bari, la Cooperativa MedTraining e la Cooperativa San Giovanni di Dio. Lo spot mette in evidenza la relazione tra razzismo e volontà di “semplificare” il mondo, variegato e complesso per sua natura. Le fasi di produzione dello spot (concept, scrittura, riprese ed editing) sono state realizzate in un Laboratorio Multimediale condotto dal prof. Oronzo Menolascina. L’immigrato con voce narrante è un rifugiato afgano che parla in lingua pashtu.

Ha deciso: andrà via e lascerà una lettera lilla per lei, in cui le spiegherà che non è vita questa, che si sta morendo tutti così. Ma il viaggio di fuga diventerà altro: un viaggio di riflessione e di ritorno salvifico per Giulia e per la madre.

Il lavoro si ispira all’opera letteraria poetica di Federico Garcia Lorca “La ballata di Cappuccetto Rosso”, dalla quale vengono ripresi i dialoghi. Cappuccetto Rosso rimarrà sempre bambina sperduta nel bosco, sarà per sempre la poesia, l'infanzia e la purezza. Capisce quindi che chi chiede i suoi occhi è perché vuole fortissimamente uno sguardo ancora puro, vuole elevare il suo spirito. Solo con lo sguardo puro di una bambina si può mettere fine alla guerra. Gli adulti, ormai corrotti per loro natura (bendati, ovvero senza uno sguardo di verità), devono andare alla ricerca di quello sguardo.

The work is inspired by Federico Garcia Lorca's poetic literary work "The Ballad of Little Red Riding Hood", from which the dialogues are taken. Little Red Riding Hood will always remain a child lost in the woods, she will forever be her poetry, childhood and purity. Durante la pandemia a trecento studentesse e studenti di prima media vengono affidati dei diari, attraverso i quali raccontare il senso dello scorrere del Tempo. Ad alcuni di loro viene consegnata una piccola videocamera, per continuare a raccontarsi tra le mura domestiche, dove lo spazio individuale rimane quello di una cameretta inaccessibile al mondo degli adulti. I loro tormenti, confessioni e sogni divengono tappe di un viaggio, a cui si alternano le riflessioni dei compagni in aula e le piccole grandi avventure di una vita quotidiana scandita dall’isolamento. Un racconto corale di una generazione sospesa tra l’infanzia, abbandonata troppo in fretta, e un’età adulta sempre più incerta.

During the pandemic, three hundred sixth grade students are entrusted with diaries, through which to tell the sense of the passage of time. Some of them are given a small video camera, to continue talking about themselves within the home, where the individual space remains that of a bedroom inaccessible to the world of adults. Difatti, prendendo visione dell’estratto, si può entrare all’interno della camera da letto di un adolescente, di una moglie, di una bambina e di un “Cyberbullo”. Quest’ultimo, rappresentato senza volto e contornato dal disordine di fili elettrici e da un buio terrificante, inoltra, con soddisfazione e compiacimento, messaggi diffamatori e svilenti agli altri protagonisti, diventati le sue vittime e diventati i bullizzati della vicenda. Il video, inoltre, è terapeuticamente impreziosito dalla spiegazione psicologica offerta da Giovanni Martinotti, Psichiatra romano e da Martina Olcese, Psicologa genovese.

Nasce a Genova il 10/08/1995. Nel 2019 pubblica il suo primo libro, intitolato Venticinque. Nel 2021 è il primo poeta della collana poetica Isole, edita da Dantebus. A metà luglio 2022, è uscita la sua prima opera poetica, intitolata L’età della Resa, edita da Fermenti Editrice di Velio Carratoni. L’ opera, tradotta in arabo e distribuita in tutti i paesi arabi dal professor di lingua Reddad Cherrati, ha vinto il primo premio internazionale di poesia edita del concorso letterario "Il canto di Dafne". I suoi lavori cinematografici sono Respiro di Superba, cortometraggio realizzato per omaggiare la sua città, Genova. CHRISTIAN OLCESE

Born in Genoa on 10/08/1995. In 2019 he published his first book, entitled Venticinque. In 2021 he is the first poet of the Islands poetic necklace, edited by Dantebus. In mid-July 2022, his first poetic work was released, entitled The Age of Surrender, published by Fermenti Editrice di Velio Carratoni. The work, translated into Arabic and distributed in all Arab countries by language professor Reddad Cherrati, won the first international prize for published poetry in the "Il canto di Dafne" literary competition. Chance Change ha l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare e raccontare come Madre Natura ha donato tanto a noi esseri umani ma, nonostante ciò, non abbiamo saputo amarla. Non abbiamo avuto cura di lei nel modo giusto e, con la nostra supremazia abbiamo distrutto gran parte della sua creazione. Premesso questo, lei è pronta ad offrirci una possibilità affinchè noi, curiosi come bambini, scopriamo che invece di manipolarla possiamo custodirla e proteggerla compiendo buone azioni nei suoi confronti. Chance Change aims to raise awareness and tell how Mother Nature has given so much to Mankind, but, despite that, we have not known how to love her. We didn’t care for her in the right way, and with our supremacy, we destroyed much of her creation. Given this, she is ready to offer us a chance so that we, curious as children, discover that instead of manipulating her we can guard and protect her by doing good deeds to her.

Nata a Napoli il 16/08/1999. È una scrittrice, illustratrice, animatrice e Graphic Designer. Laureata in Design della Comunicazione e attualmente studentessa di cinema di animazione presso l’Accademia Belle Arti di Napoli. Ha realizzato una serie di progetti audiovisivi per la Escuela Superior de Diseño Región de Murcia in Spagna e per alcuni concorsi internazionali. L’ambizione e la motivazione sono i suoi aspetti più importanti. Le piace diffondere messaggi positivi e speranzosi alle persone attraverso l’uso di particolarità creativa, semplicità e leggerezza.

Graduated in Communication Design and currently student of animation cinema at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Una donna un giorno si sveglia e scopre che il suo corpo ha qualcosa che non va, il suo nemico è dentro di lei, fa parte di lei. Il seno diventa il centro del caos che inevitabilmente cambierà la sua vita. Il tu- more al seno colpisce una donna su 9 e lei è una di quelle. Una donna un giorno si sveglia, e inizia a fare i conti con le sue debolezze, con la paura, con il buio. Tutto ciò che conosceva cambia, lacrime cadono sul suo volto, così come i capelli che volano danzando col vento. Un turbinio di emozioni le esplode dentro, il tempo passa e con lui anche la sua malattia.

Fiamma Olivieri nasce in un piccolo paese vesuviano il 16/06/1999. Cresciuta in una famiglia di artisti, instaura uno stretto rapporto con l’arte. Influenzata da questo mondo, decide d’intraprendere gli studi preso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli laureandosi in Design della Comunicazione. Per lei l’arte è un qualcosa di fisiologico e naturale, un pò come camminare o respirare.

Attualmente ha intrapreso il percorso di specialistica in Comunicazione Pubblica e d'Impresa per approfondire il mondo della grafica e nuove tecnologie di comunicazione visiva.
