Dear MCS Family and Friends, Last year at this time we launched our “Finish the Fields� campaign with the hopes of raising 20% ($700K) of the total $3.5 million needed to install the highest quality sports turf possible for our amazing student-athletes. Gratefully, our community rallied together and was able to raise most ($400K) of our target goal (thanks to the generosity of many MCS family and friends).

While all the funds were not raised, the school board noticed how quickly and passionately our community rallied in such a small amount of time to give. Encouraged in heart, they unanimously resolved to give the school a green light to move forward with the project.

Exciting News Inside

This first phase of the athletic complex includes sports fields and does not include all of the “bells and whistles” beyond the turf and fencing. What is not included in the $3.5 million “Finish the Fields” project are stadium bleachers, baseball/softball bleachers, and funding for future lights. The plan is to continue renting portable lights and home stadium bleachers for the football season. While grading is still happening for the fields we are hopeful that we can still raise the additional funds to fully install permanent bleachers for MCS fans by August 1st and begin the permit process for future field lights through the County.

In May 2018, MCS supporters generously raised $400k in 40 days toward our $700k goal and total $3.5 million Finish-the-Fields project! Seeing the tremendous groundswell of support, the MCS Board prayerfully and unanimously voted to proceed with the project!
