As we gear up for the summer season, we are excited to announce the launch of the online Manteca Recreation and Community Services Department's Activity Guide. We have an amazing lineup of events and activities planned for this summer/fall, and we can't wait to share them with you.

We are thrilled to kick off the second year of our Jr Giants program, where kids can learn valuable life skills through the game of baseball. We also have the return of events such as the Food Truck Frenzy and Movie Nights, where families can come together to enjoy delicious food and great movies under the stars.

Our Manteca Park-A-Palooza event is new to the community with a concert lineup that promises to be both entertaining and family-friendly.

The Senior Center has undergone amazing renovations, and if you haven't seen the improvements, we encourage you to stop by and take a look. We are always on the lookout for volunteers at the Senior Center to help us continue to improve our events and programs

We can't wait to enjoy the warmer weather and all the fun that summer brings to Manteca. We hope to see you soon at one of our upcoming programs or events. Please fill free to reach out to me with any feedback or input at bclark@manteca.gov with your ideas and thoughts. Together we can make a difference and help create new programs for the future!

Sincerely,

Manteca

Meet Parky

Meet Parky, the lovable and energetic mascot of our recreation department! With his bushy tail and perky ears, Parky is always ready for fun and adventure

Born and raised in our beautiful parks, Parky has a deep appreciation for nature and all the activities it offers. He loves to spend time at the senior center, where he learns from the wisdom of our elders and enjoys a game of bingo or two

Parky is also a big fan of our aquatics programs, where he can splash around and make a big splash with his flips and tricks. And when it comes to baseball, Parky is the ultimate team player, always cheering on our athletes and encouraging them to do their best

Perhaps Parky's favorite activity of all is a good old-fashioned picnic in the park With his trusty basket of snacks, Parky loves to relax in the sun and share good times with his recreation friends.

As we gear up for the exciting events of the season, Parky is looking forward to all the fun and adventure that await So whether you're looking for a friendly face to brighten your day or a fun-loving companion to join in your adventures, Parky the Squirrel is here to spread joy and happiness to all who cross his path. Come say hello and see for yourself what makes this little guy so special!
