• B.E. Mechanical Engineering

• M.E. Computer Integrated Manufacturing

• M.E. Thermal Engineering

• Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering

Fluid Mechanics and Machinery Lab: Training in flow measurement using different devices and to perform calculation related to losses in pipes.

The Department periodically organises seminars / conferences to keep the faculty and students abreast of with the latest developments in the field of technical education. The unceasing commitment helps the students to learn, grow, develop, and achieve their goals in their pursuit and excel in their professional career. Centre for Advanced Manufacturing establised in the department acts as an interface between science, engineering, and industrial practice. The Centre provides the intellectual foundation for industry to collaborate with faculty and students to resolve generic, long-range challenges.

Heat and Mass Transfer Lab: Training on performance tests of refrigeration and air conditioning unit.

Graduates Will Have Knowledge Of

Principles of Engineering, Basic science and Mathematics, Modeling, Analysis, Design and Realization of Physical Systems, Components and Processes, Thermal and Mechanical System areas.

Steam Lab: Training on low pressure boiler performance characteristics

Metrology Lab: Measuring the major diameter, minor diameter and pitch of screw thread using Profile Projector.

Dynamics Lab: Investigation of momentum of inertia using gyroscope is performed by measuring the angular acceleration caused by torques. The focus of the lab is on both process as well as system level manufacturing solutions .The Centre is equipped with the most advanced equipment and instrumentation, and is supported by a well-equipped machine shop and computing facilities. The Centre consists of the following equipment.

• 3D Printing Machine

• CNC Production Lathe

• Duet CNC Turning Machine

• Mini CNC Trainer Lathe

• CNC Trainer Mill with ATC

CNC fulland Lathe exposes the students to the basic machining using modern control systems. It is a versatile system that allows to control the motion of tools and parts through computer programs that use numeric data.
