Built a Holistic Wellness Program
In 2021, our Wellness Education Program was revamped to build deeper connections with the community–both in virtual and inperson settings. We created a live cooking show called Cooking & Conversing, covering topics of wellness, nutrition, and culture on our social media.
Mandela Partners hosted new successful workshops: Stress, Nutrition, and Movement–a workshop to encourage eating healthy and movement to destress, and Food Is Art–a workshop designed to promote healthy eating at home. In addition, the first Nutrition Cohort was launched and served families in unincorporated Alameda County.
