Provided Produce to Community
In partnership with our food hub, Mandela Produce Distribution, we strengthened our multi-farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program we piloted in 2020. We created an easy-to-use e-commerce platform for customers to order produce boxes online, which sourced sustainably grown produce from our network of family farmers.
Mandela Partners also continued fully subsidized CSA produce box donations to community distribution partners in Alameda County.
Donated 4,083 produce boxes to limited-resource households with 12 community partners.
