Programming: In MLE group, students to study, explore and invent a suitable Off- Grid Home that includes subsystem that makes the space livable. Students are required to propose a conceptual design with key features of self-sustaining and energy efficient that can be deployable anywhere around the world which then to be developed into a “narrative program”. Fundamental to the development of the brief is an understanding of the relationship between the conceptual approach that you have begun to explore and the functional purpose of your proposals. A compilation of research outcomes, findings, analysis, in a form of 2D (partial 3D) ‘Narrative Programming’ that shows activity, priority, flexibility, system, approach, process, colour, texture, material, style, concept, identity and elements that will be used on the overall design approach.

BUILDING/SITE MODEL- Students are required to build a physical model of the chosen site using suitable scale and sturdy material. The roof must be openable to allow the interior spaces to be appreciated. SPATIAL INTERIOR MODEL-Each student will later be required to produce a spatial model at the same scale as overall model for the proposed interior areas. The model must be able to detach itself and reattach in the Building/Site Model done in groups.

RekaScape is located at the heart of a new and vibrant landscape in Cyberjaya. Envisioned as a catalyst towards an empowered and thriving community of entrepreneurs, it is positioned to drive robust economic activities through creativity and innovation.

Based on Narrative Programming and the focused system/activity designed in Project 1, students are required to individually design an appealing workspace within a market hall, utilising the given space. The goal is to create engaging spaces that promote productivity, collaboration, and creativity while celebrating the diversity and unique sense of place of the community. By rethinking the power of culture and space for an insightful experience, the space should boost employee engagement and vitality through the creative use of space and flow. While digital technologies are transforming not only the work people do but also the ways in which workspaces are designed, built, and operated, the essence of the workplace remains human interaction and collaboration, which is as necessary as ever. The new norm and latest technologies and materials should also be explored. Overall, the workspace design should provide a new and dynamic environment for work. CLIENT
